After getting a Provari Mini among my vapemail today, I'm realizing that I can dial down the voltage and get a better vape than I could at a higher voltage with a Twist. Is that normal? Maybe it was the using of more voltage with my Protank II that made me burn through coils nearly every day and a half? Perhaps using a lower voltage with the Provari, yet getting a better vape, will lengthen the life of my coils? I don't know, but I'm thoroughly impressed with how much lower I can set the voltage to with the Provari and get excellent results.

Also, with the Tatroe base cap, I'm finding that I'm vaping less frequently because it encourages me to PUT IT DOWN! I never bought a lanyard for the Twist, so I generally kept holding it. Big THUMBS UP for the Tatroe base!!! It feels good in my hand with the stock Mini size and with two rings for an 18650. Love it.

your twist is probably putting out more voltage than what it says its putting out i had a standard ego clone that put out 3.9v to 4.0v , i can tell you what ever your provari says is gonna be about spot on
this

the regulatoin on a twist isnt perfect. a fully charged battery at 3.8v could be 4 and as the battery gets weaker could be 3.6 and the vape varies.

with the provari accuset chip it will hold the exact voltage from fresh battery to dead heating the coil more evenly and making the vapor more consistent

get some of the panasonic pd2900 batteries and you will hold a charge for a couple days :D im now trying the 3400's, its getting nice only charging 2 batteries a week

From my experience the voltage boost circuitry on all chinese VV/VW leave a lot to be desired compared to the likes of Provari / Kick 2 / DNA20D / Buzz Pro

The provari has a much, much flatter Voltage signal than a Twist and other chinese devices

I have a Vamo and when I set it to '6.0 Volt' or '15 watts' if gives me a sub-par experience compared to my provari at 4.7 ~ 4.9 volts for the same dripper

Also, a Provari gives you your set Voltage until the battery dies

I no longer have a Twist (mine died after 8 months) but the Vamo, when the batteries goes below 3.8 volts, starts dropping the Volatge big time

So if I set it at 5.5 volts, if could be actually be giving, say (this depends on the resistance of what you have on top), 4.8 or .9 volts
