It's here!! Provari arrives but frustrated with protank!!!! Help!

It's me, Bebe, the newbie. Got my Provari mini today and have been playing with it all day. I LOVE it! And I'm glad I didn't waste my time with other mods/kits. Quality thru and thru! I ordered 2 packs of cartomizers, 1 pack is DOA. I had read that somewhere else, that someone had the same thing. But it's the Protank that is giving me fits! When I seat the atomizer head, it doesn't touch the top assembly after the bottom cap is threaded on the tank. Then, when I attach the tank to the Provari, knowing I'm not supposed to tighten it too much, it gives me an open error. So if I tighten it down all the way, it finally makes a circuit, but the bottom thread of the tank is way too tight on the Provari unit. I played with it for quite a bit, surprised there wasn't a troubleshooting tip on the provape site. So my big question is...should I spring for the Z-atty? Would that work better? Rebuilding coils and wicking is up my alley, no problem there. Both atomizer heads that came with the Protank both give me the same problem. I ordered their replacement head 5 pack, though they charged me, they forgot to include it. Need some input from you veteran techs or Provariantis out there, your help is greatly appreciated! One other question , it doesn't appear possible to drip with the Protank? Or can I? If I need a different atomizer to drip with, someone please tell me where they get them for the Provari. One other comment, the Provari batteries all arrived almost fully charged!

Moved to Clearomizers.

Are you making sure that the heads are screwed fully into the base? These are the Protank 2s?

Did you make sure to screw the head into the base nice and tight, THEN snug the Protank on your Provari? If the head is just loosely fitted in there it would explain why it's not making a connection.

Yes, it's the Protank 2 that comes in the starter kit.

Unfortunately it is common to get a bad batch of coils. Try a new pack. Here is a good place....
