innokin iTaste SVD Telescoping Variable Voltage/Wattage - STNLS
$109.95 $99.95

innokin brings true innovation, quality construction and one of the first telescoping mods to the market with the:
INNOKIN iTaste SVD Stainless Telescoping Variable Voltage & Wattage Mod. Already much acclaimed, the iTaste SVD kit boasts a variable voltage feature from 3.0-6.0v in .1 increments and variable wattage feature 3.0-15.0w in .5 incremnts. Solidly constructed in brushed stainless steel the kit provides both a short tube and a long tube. The short tube can actually accommodate battery sizes from 18350 to 18650 while the longer tube provides an extended grip if you are using an 18650 battery. Either set-up can use stacked IMR 18350 batteries for extended battery life and longer duty cycles.

Thoughtful design is apparent in every area of this mod:

  • Features extremely positive tactile 'clicky' feel to the buttons.
  • The fire/power button also lights up from green to yellow to red to give you an indication of your remaining battery voltage.
  • Mirrored LCD is mounted with visible screws in an attractive frame. It comes with a protective film that can be removed.
  • Deep etching into the stainless steel provides actual directions on how to switch between variable voltage and wattage and also how to measure atomizer resistance and remaining battery voltage.
  • Flush mounted 510 connection for attractive mounting of Vivi Nova or other non-eGo tanks without sacrificing airflow as a hole is drilled into one of the dimples of the upper "beauty sleeve" (as Innokin puts it).
  • Smooth threading and useful indentations for secure grip of your mod in your hand.

Feature List:
  • Variable Voltage: 3.0-6.0v in .1 increments, cycles around at end and beginning.
  • Variable Wattage: 3.0-15.0w in .5 increments.
  • Short circuit protection
  • Reverse battery Protection
  • Check your battery's voltage by holding down either the +/- button
  • Check atomizer resistance by holding down BOTH +/- buttons
  • 3-Click on-off fire/power button
  • Low Voltage Warning
  • Telescopic Tube supports 18350, 18500 and 18650 batteries as well as double-stacked IMR 18350 batteries.
  • Compatible with eGo clearomizers natively as well as all Kanger products including T3's and T2's without the need for an adapter.
  • Maintains settings when you change batteries.

Other Info:
  • 109.7 - 139.7mm height; 23.5mmm wide.
  • Brushed stainless steel construction throughout.
  • Maximum Current Output: 5.0 amps

What You Receive in the iTaste SVD kit:
  • iTaste SVD Mod PCB Tube
  • Short/Standard Battery Tube
  • Long Battery Tube
  • Two iClear30 16 wick Dual Coil 3.0ml Clearo Tanks @ 2.1ohms (this tank has been reviewed well and is much like the ViVi Nova)
  • Three iClear replacement heads (2.1ohm)
  • Top Beauty Ring
  • Thorough manual written in eight languages.
  • Instruction card on filling various Innokin clearos including the iClear30
  • Professional sturdy packaging.

Got mine yesterday, fit and finish are both beautiful... it really is gorgeous. Not crazy about the iclear tanks that came with it... I'm a vivi nova kinda guy... this is my second VV but my first VW so still figuring the best setups as far as wattage is concerned. Options galore for batt setups, just using a single 18350 atm. Vapes well, large yet comfortable. Did I mention gorgeous?

Only real problem ive found at this point: the fire button got stuck closed, in the first couple hits. After I coerced it open, exercised it a bit and gave it a stern talkin to, it seems to be performing as intended. For the sake of being critical, the up and down buttons are close enough to the fire button that i have tried vaping while pressing the + or - and the endcap threads feel a bit fragile. Nothing a little extra caution wont cure. I also don't really like that the default mode is off after inserting a battery. Petty... yes, but. Just sayin.

But the menu is easy to figure out, the resistance and voltage measure very close to the reading I get with my fluke, and it really is machined well.. vapes like a dream and hell... it has beauty ring... that's worth the cosy of admission right there!

In short: love it

I've had my SVD for a few weeks now and after being a Vamo user for 6 months and wearing 2 out due to the fragile copper 501 connector I have to say it's a far superior piece of kit, it took some adjustment to get comfortable with the button arrangement and at first made a few power adjustments when going for the fire button, but so what?

It's a classy item that performs very well and looks and feels like top quality kit and has more the feel of a high end mechanical.
One of the real plus points for me was being able to use my T3s without needing an adapter and when I wind it down for 18350 mode and pop on a SS Evod it is perfect for popping out, driving or when you may need to slide it into a pocket.

As much as I loved my Vamos and what great value they are the SVD is a bigger step up than the extra cost should prevent...

I suspect that the VAMO has a brass 510 connector and not copper... though the Chinese are prone to calling brass as copper. Either way... copper and brass both provide good electrical connections compared to a steel one. Being brass or copper, doesn't make it less of a connection but better ... still it does require the user to show more care when screwing in their vaporizers.

Thank you both for the mini-reviews. If you haven't already you can cut and paste and put them up on the site. What you do is go to the product listing then click the Add Review button...
