NEW innokin iTaste Variable Voltage/Wattage Express Kit
$49.95

Introducing the NEWLY Released innokin iTaste V3.0 - NOW with BOTH Variable Voltage and Variable Wattage. We have put together our own Express kit that includes a manual in five langauages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Danish and two other languages we are not sure of the nationality (CESTINA & EAAHNIKA). We have to say that this is the most well written, plain English manual we have seen out of China. If you view the pictures of the box itself it will attest to this. Along with the battery and manual you receive a retractable pass-through charging cord. We are also offering, FREE of charge, an Innokin iClear16 Dual Coil Replaceable head CE4 with purchase. All of this is a very nice slim presentation box.

The description on Innokin's site is so well written, we are reprinting it here with formatting so you can read easily:

The iTaste VV/VW V3.0 is a microprocessor controlled variable-voltage/variable-wattage (VV/VW) personal vaporizer that lets you adjust the voltage or wattage in seconds with just a few button presses. It's quick and easy!

Main Features:

Variable Voltage:
voltage can be adjusted from 3.3 – 5.0 volts in .1 volt increments.

Variable Wattage:
Wattage can be adjusted from 6.0 – 11.0 W in .5 watts increments.

Ohms meter:
Resistive Load Detection.

Puff Counter:
The puff counter will record how many puffs you have taken. The records will be cleared when the device is turned off.

Short Circuit/Atomizer Protection:
Short Circuit/Atomizer Protection helps protect the iTaste VV against faulty atomizers.

Over-Discharge Protection:
The iTaste VV monitors the battery voltage and will automatically turn off when the battery is discharged.

LED Battery Indicator:
The iTaste VV battery utilizes an advanced capacity display via green, yellow and red LED lights. Users will know the battery’s capacity via the color of the LED Button. The LED lights will show green, yellow or red to indicate full battery life, half capacity or charging needed.

Superior Battery Life:
The iTaste VV e-cigarette features a built-in 800 mAh polymer Li-Ion rechargeable battery.

510 Threaded:
The iTaste VV is threaded to accept 510 accessories, including the iClear10,iClear16 and iClear30 clearomizers.

ON/OFF Battery Switch:
Quickly clicking three times will power the device on or off. Once the device is on, holding down the button will activate the battery. This safety feature prevents the atomizer from turning on while it's in your pocket or bag, as well as inadvertent settings changes.

10-Second Cutoff:
If the button is held down for 10 seconds or longer, the iTaste VV will shut itself off until the button is released.

Passthrough:
The iTaste VV is charged through a Micro USB Port. You can recharge it with any standard MicroUSB cable. It can also work as a pass-through device for simultaneous vaping and charging.

Settings Retention:
The device remembers the last voltage or wattage used when switching batteries.

Display Information:
The bright display shows resistance (ohms), voltage, wattage, atomizer voltage output, puff count, and last-used settings.

Very nice! That's a definite improvement over the original model which I still use from time to time. I like that it has the eGo threading and variable wattage. The biggest improvement though is that Innokin ditched the gimmicky, wobbly magnetic connector. I swore that I wouldn't buy yet another PV.....?

Yes the smaller form factor on VV and VW mods is most welcome. We weren't sure how everyone would accept a more limited battery capacity but we though the convenience factor would balance that. The vapeonly is not VW but VV but it is well received...

It is about time that the smaller form factor batteries start coming with a VV/VW option... way cool

Yes it is, for my own personal preference I start at 6w so its good for me...

Innokin asked me, "Where do you start Danno". I said
"6 watts". They said, "OK thank you Yankee", I said, "Well I am actually in the south", they said, "What?", I said "Nevermind"

That's a sweet looking battery. And Kanger friendly; woot.

Is the wattage spec correct? "Wattage 6w-11.0w in .5 increments"
6w sounds really high for the low end.

hmmmmm might have to look into this one. Couple of questions about the above. Just making certain sure that this is outside ego threaded, since they don't mention it and I can't really see it on the pics. I do have lousy eyesight and not the greatest monitor.

Ok, I've been up nearly 24 hrs now, but I don't understand the part about remembering the last voltage or wattage when switching batteries. Does that mean when you put the device on to charge? Or does it have some way to actually switch a battery?

All of the digitally controlled voltage and/or wattage adjustable mods use some form of PWM ( pulse width modulation ) for their output as far as I'm aware of. So that is a given with this one as well as any other you'll see. Non-digital variable mod's are inefficient do to how step up / down transformers work... or resistors alone in a mod that restricts the initial voltage the battery ( batteries ) put out.

As for it using RMS or AVG... I can't say for certain but being fairly recent... it's good odds that it is RMS since that in more like what you'd experience with a straight ( non-digital ) voltage output.

Also does this battery have enought power to handle iclear30 double coil ?

I don't know about the iclear 30s, but from what little I've used them it runs my 1.5Ω SmokTech Dual Coil Cartomizers just fine (I only bought them to vape plastic breakers and mostly quit using them after I got my protanks).

I vape at 5 or 5.5W so 6W is a deal killer for me. :(
