so the story is i just got my 510 about 40 mins ago.. and have been trying a few flavours (MLB, flue clue, kant). and its just so sweet.. i m getting the normal "wing" when i smoke.. is it just me or what?

As for juices being sweet - yeah lots are - the more VG you have as well the sweeter they willbe (VG adds a bit of sweetness as well as extra vapor). Plenty of juices out there though - the ones that come with the carts aren't the standard, and they aren't ALL 'sweet'.

hahah ok so head rush - if its normal for YOU when you smoke thats fine, but it often means the nic level of the juice might be a tad high; too much vaping could give you a headache which defintely will mean its too high.
AS for juices, shop around - you'll find one the suits you more eventually - there's an Oz section on the forum here. Once you get enough posts you can post in it asking for supplier names for less-sweet juices; but you can go read it even if you aren't able to post there yet. Give it a little time, the flavor took me a bit to get used to. Now though, I actually like it. MLB (Marlboro I assume?) is the only one I have yet, but it has grown on me. I ordered some others, but all just different tobacco flavors (I am quite fond of quality tobacco products) and I expect them in the mail soon. I will be sure to report how the sweet measures up to what came with it when I bought it. Sounds like we are currently using at least one of the same kind.
I think MLB is a stock Dekang juice that seems to come in a lot of starter kits. I personally like it quite a bit and still have a few bottles of it around! Not terribly sweet, with a kind of 'nutty' flavor?

I'd guess you got a number of Dekang juice flavors. I think almost all of the tobacco type flavors have a sweetness to them, some are very sweet to me. Once you try some other brands you'll find a tobacco flavor that you really enjoy. It just may take some time.
I found a lot of tobacco flavors 'sweet'. I think, in general, chewing tobacco is a bit sweet and that seems to be the flavor that some of these companies are going after.
I found Revolvers stock "Gold" flavor to be a pretty good tobacco flavor and not nearly as sweet as others I've tried.
Though to be honest, I've completely given up on tobacco flavors and am enjoying Eco-Pure's almost flavorless "rich" blend. I'm also enjoying menthols lately... which is odd since I hated menthol cigarettes

my experience.....at first tabacco was ok. but after a couple weeks i didn't like it. tried some other kinds of tabacco, that didn't work. after some discouragement, but deciding not to give up, i starting sampling other flavors...i found coffee flavors are my favorite. kinda funny cuz i am not a coffee drinker. LOL. i believe this to be our taste buds becoming healthy again. just think of all the damage those poor things have taken from analogs! i even found that i HATE sloppy joes, and i have been making and eating them for years! LOL. i am not sure what will/won't work for you, i just hope that you find it
My first liquid (just 2 weeks ago) was the standard Joye Marlboro 18mg PG.
The first day or 2 was tough as I was really uncertain about it.
Now I'm blending other flavors with it and havin' a grand ole time

Got five tobacco and five USA blend (had no idea what it was, so figured for nine bucks I might as well try both.)
Only tried the tobacco so far, and it is WAY less sweet then the MLB I was using. Like, not sweet at all. Pretty good too. Tastes more or less like tobacco, with maybe a pecan flavor at first. Took a few puffs to get used to, but I like it. Give it a try if you still aren't digging the sweet. Plus, vapor production on this thing is much better then the normal carts I was using. Hope you find something you like!

I experienced the same thing. Everything was sickly sweet. Try 555. VG is not necessarily sweeter than PG although that's generally the case. Try Cignot's VG 555 for a full flavor that's not too sweet. Cignot's DK-TAB VG is very slightly sweet but one of my favorites. UltraPure is not sweet either although it is very lightly flavored. Tasty Vapor's Kretek PG (clove) is not sweet.
cheers people, I am happy to report that i m starting to get use to this whole e-cig experience. However, I am getting this really sore throat sensation(dont get me wrong i do like the throat hit, but perhaps too much?), while and after I vape. Is that normal?. And guess what?.. i was floping this around and about just where ever i go and i got at least 15 friends asking me if I could order them some(would this give me any discounts in those sites?).
haha ya head rush.. i was looking for that word.. but ya what i meant was i am NOT getting the head rush that i use to get in an analog.
I have been to the Oz section, I bought my flavours based on that. BUt I guess its like what most would say in this forum, its all about trial and error, everyone has a difference experience with different flavors.
Part of the 'headrush' is the carbon monoxide you inhale from a ciggie - you can get a smaller one from just nic alone, but you probably won't get that exact same feeling duplicated with ejuice because it doesn't contain as many 'other' chemical additives. You do get used to the 'new feelings' but afaik you can't duplicate the 'old' headrush exactly (though too much nic, either from heavy vaping or too high jucie can make ya woozy)
Yes, the sore throat is normal when you first start vaping, but it doesn't last long.
