I bought my pv like 5 days ago was super excited vaped all the way home, as soon as I got home I walked in the front door and out the back about to light an analog.... My wife was like what are you doing I said "Smoking" she replied "Why?"..... I said oh .... I dunno... I'm never craving analogs at all and when I have one it taste crappy but its a 16 year habit and I still have like five packs of smokes.... I find myself lighting up occasionally without even thinking about it. But I am proud to say that in 5 days I've had 4 analogs a huge improvement from the 1.5 packs per day I was at. With this rate either I'll toss the analogs in the garbage or my 5 packs will last 5 months. Either way I'm ok with that.:vapor:

Grats! Yeah it's so automatic. I had packs all over the place and a couple of times I accidentally lit one without even thinking but tossed it immediately.

I have a totally extra battery so I can leave my ecig set up overnight - that way I can just set it down before bed and it's ready when I wake up. None of that unaccustomed assembly or disassembly when I'm 1/2 awake.

I find myself reaching for them or thinking I need them all the time. It's going to happen. I have a 27 year habit to break and it's not going to happen over night. I do notice as time goes on, the habit and need is fading. The PV really does make a big difference.

I figure I will eventually start reaching for the PV or thinking I need to vape instead of an Anolog. :)

I had just opened a pack of smokes before my e-cig came in the mail last Monday. I'd been a 1.5 pack a day for quite some time and was surprised that the open pack lasted me until Saturday. On Saturday I thought I'd go out back and have an analog, but after three puffs I couldn't stand the taste and threw the rest away.

Yesterday I was the first day I had no desire for an analog in 40 years. I am amazed to say the least. I think that the e-cigs I got taste better than any analog I've ever smoked.

BTW: What's a PV? (still learning the lingo)

LOL! You'll find yourself trying to light your PV, too! Done that so many times, I'd be rich if I had a dollar for each time! Yep, old habits die hard, but it'll be sooner than ya think before you're done with stinkies. It will just occur to you suddenly that smoking hasn't occurred to you! Kinda sneaks up on ya, which is a good thing. I'm super proud of you and glad you're here! ECF is my 2nd home now!

I started with the idea of vaping from a friend (non-smoker) with whom i travel with quite often. i almost gave up on it after purchasing an inferior product from a local tobacconist. what a piece of junk. thank god for the internet and realized that better products are out there. now i am happily vaping away and smoke-free for a month!
