When Harry Potter book seven came out I was at summer camp. Me and another kid got it the same day and raced to spoil the ending for the other. We could only read before breakfast, during mid day break and after the after dinner activities until lights out. I still finished in less than four days.

When the first Twilight movie was about to release, my mom got the the set. I didn't get out the recliner unless I was hungry or had to use the facilities or was forced to sleep and finished all four in a couple days.

We book lovers can really tear em up!

That's the truth! When I sit down to read I really get into it. I have to keep going until I reach the end.

Mwwwaaaa! PATRICIA BRIGGS! I love those! I totally want a Sam. Although I will gladly accept an Adam... for the longest time I thought it was a single book then ventured to a bookstore a few years later and realized there were more! I think I have everything up to the one after Silver Borne.
excellent series :)

have you read any of Simon R Green's stuff? Tales from the Nightside series or the Secret Histories? LOTS of fun :)

then def look into her spin off series ... called alpha and omega... its based around sam and his family on the reservation... I ALMOST like that better than the mercy series...
and if you like briggs...
get the laurel k Hamilton series.. she has two, one if Fae, its the merry gentry series, all about seelie and unseelie... and the courts... stroke of midnight I think is the first book, and the vavmpire series, Anita blake... first book is guilty pleasures... cried for two days almost over that damn book. I have three copies.. so good

*NERD FLAG FLYING HIGH*
yah - the laurel k hamilton stuff is good overall, but the anita blake stuff kind of went off the rails after a while... anita went full hoochie...

I agree. I read those too. Very good. The movies didn't do them justice!
It was the girl they picked for Bella. Totally apathetic and bland. I saw the first two and gave up. Can't stand her.

And they left a lot of the back stories out. Those were what made you love the characters.
