Its crazy how willing these shops are to rip people off. I saw an ego twist kit for $75 in a shop near me.

Yeah, at first glance it looks like they're ripping us a new one. However, if you think about it from a business stand point, they have overhead. They have to rent a store front, hire employees, pay electric etc... An online business usually doesn't have all those bills to contend with. Some even drop-ship, which means they don't ever hold the product they are selling. A vape shop has to make a little profit too... it's the juice that we really are getting ripped on. And that's not just in vape shops... every where. You can make a gourmet juice yourself, with the finest and most expensive ingredients for practically nothing.

There's a few guys around work that keep buying gear out in town here and paying 2 to 3 times the online cost. The funny part is they know they can get it cheaper. They don't like that they would have to wait a week or so for it to get here so they'll spend the money - not just an extra $10 or so - some have dumped up to $80 or more extra just to have it right now.
They could pay for next day shipping and still save money lol

I can see your point for sure, but my local gas station sells an MVP 2.0 for $60. Still insane, but I would do that before handing over $75 for a twist kit. And yeah, we are definitely getting ripped off on juices for sure.

in my country they sell normal egos with ce4 for 40-50$ and people are actually buying them...

I can get ego kits for under $10 a set... cheaper if I buy more than 3. I can get authentic Kangertech kits for under $20.

If they are selling then they are also buying in bulk and saving quite a bit... so their mark-up is actually a lot more than you think. They are making a killing. Even the online businesses are making a killing. Especially on juice.

The prices your all telling are insane cheap

Not really. The prices in vape shops and some online stores are marked up way too much. You have to look around online and usually you can find really good deals, especially during holiday sales.

Most mods, tanks, and kits come from China. If you buy directly from China you can get them at cost. Vape shops and other online shops order straight from China in bulk.

I know shops charge more as they have to cover the overheads BUT if they charge too much they will end up losing customers, people use the internet and shop around to get the best price.
Yup, they drive everyone away. I know many people that live around me who refuse to go to the shops for that reason.

About once a month I make my rounds at our local vape shops... some are reasonable and I try to throw a little business at them. The owner at one shop is really nice. He will stand and talk to you for an hour. I will buy things from him and don't feel bad about anything. His prices aren't that bad compared to the others. One shop on the other side of town is crazy. Their prices are twice as much as online.

So yeah, some are way too high. And I would hope most people in my town are giving the nice owner who has reasonable prices their business.
