I was just coming here to let you know I got a funky error when trying to go to your site. Apparently you already knew about it, but in case this is a possible "new" issue --

when trying to go to ivape.net/shop

Secure Connection Failed

(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

yes

We are moving to a new server and host, which we got a new security certificate for

the /shop directory is now gone for good...

We've almost finished transfer of all DNS records so you can access the site as normally right now through

http://ivape.net - e-cigarettes, personal vaporizers and e-cig accessories

the www. entrance is still coming up in our area, but is available in others... everything should be ok within a few hours (I hope - this has been stressful)

I just placed a order yesterday are all orders still good to go?

Yes, we were able to backup all of our database before the original tables crashed, so we have all records on all orders - there was a loss of approximately 35 minutes worth of data which affected the on-site record of 4 orders - but those are backed up off-site - and all orders are here, and ready for processing as of 20 minutes ago.

Joe,
It looks like you do not have any 301 redirects in place - it would be a really good idea to consider doing this ASAP, this helps protect any seo value you had from the old site from being lost, and it helps customers who might have bookmarked a product or come across a search engine result. I just googled "Tuxedo PCC" and the first result was the old product page, but since the url is not the same it is a broken link. 301s will help to make the experience better for users and search bots. Either way, congrats on the move.

Best,

-Jeff.

We are working on the 301, but the SEF URL plugin we have is a bit shaky at best... it's also taken down our support ticket system... which is gonna make more work for me.. but yeah, i'll be doing my best to get things all smoothed out as best as possible as soon as I can.

Hey, I wasn't critizing, there is a lot that goes into a move and I have seen sites take a hit when redirects are forgotten (which happens) so I just wanted to give you a heads up.

I appreciated it, we submitted a new sitemap on google today, so I'm hoping this fixes broken links on searches.
