For the life of me I can build my kayfun 3.1 or Russian 91% without them leaking to save my life. I've followed about 12 different builds on youtube, tried my own ideas. Did another today, started with a little leak in the fill port, then liquid just literally pouring out of the air hole. UGHHHH!!!!

I'm gonna have to go to some sort of class or something, this driving me insane, I'm about ready to chuck them as far out my backdoor as they will go.

What wicking material are you using? I have found that using more/longer wick helps prevent leaking, when using silica or Japanese cotton.

If you haven't done so already, check your seals. Just put it together, close off the air hole with your finger and try a strong pull. If you're getting any air at all then you'll need to track it down from there.

Ok, I'm not the master, not by a long shot, but haven't had a kayfun leak.

I use a larger coil, like 3/32" ID. I wick with rayon. Pull it through til I hear the squeek. Pull tails up and screw down the chimney. Trim tails even with top of chimney. Gently push tails down with a small straight screwdriver. Prime wick and fire. Prime again a little. Fill and vape.

using organic cotton at the moment, fixing to pick up some rayon and Japanese cotton, feeling rather frustrated with it all right now..... loaded my silo back on my P3 and have decided to take a break for the night, start fresh in the morning.

There are 3 regular causes of leaking in these units.

1....Wicking....Too much wick, particularly with cotton, will cause leaking. Not enough leads to dry hits. It's not difficult to get the correct amount but it is easy to get it wrong either way. Just enough that there is some resistance to pulling it thru the coil. If you pull both ends up thru the chimney body and trim, again, not too long or too short. Even with the chimney body is too short but no more than 3mm above it.

2....Top Filling....if you fill by removing the top cap and filling from above the coil, you will get flooding....every time. There is a way to eliminate flooding using this method but I find it unreliable.

3....OverFilling.....bottom filling thru by way of the fill screw can still cause leaking if you over fill. Max 2.5ml when you fill your device, anymore will lead to leaking.

As noted by other posters, check all your seals every time you disassemble your device. If you unscrew the TopCap you will frequently unscrew the chimney partially also which will break the vacuum seal.
