[/IMG]Like the title, i've recoiled the iclear 30, but it measures about 1 ohm on my VTR. It also deviates from this by about .1 ohm. The flavour is great, but i feel its not producing enough vapor like it used to, iono maybe its me. I used 3mm silica wick and added a flavour wick. I should mention i had to wrap the negative wires a on post a few times to make sure it would make contact. I did about 4 to 5 wraps of 2mm kanthal for the coils. I guess my question is it the extra wrapping of the negative wire around the post that giving me this 1ohm reading? And should i remove the flavour wick to get more cloud vapor?

I tried this a few times too, worked best with 2mm silica and non conductive wire legs. Dual coil, 4 wicks. Got me 1.8 ohm.

But honestly.. it just wasnt worth the hassle, without adjustable airflow... {moderated}

(added after moderation)
all disrespect totally intended towards the tank, not the indivdual, I consider the i30 just a lousy sub-par tank. I worked on it myself thinking I could get it better, but it still never performed as well as stock coiled aerotanks or nautilus.

Congrats I've been throwing the idea around in my head to do that how long did it take to do?
It took me 3 tries to understand and how to structure how i was going to approach the recoiling. Once you understand how it works it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to actually recoil it. Maybe this weekend i will upload a tutorial with detailed pics on how to do it and include tips to avoid headaches.
