... And holy crap.

Flavor and vapor production are both absolutely ridiculous. Best part about it: When the wick is no longer usable, it's an incredibly simple process to just pull the cotton out and insert a new one without the need for recoiling (after a wickless dry-burn, of course).

But when I tested it on the multimeter, I was registering ~2.6ohms with 5 wraps of 32 gauge kanthal around a 3mm precision screwdriver. Any tips on dropping the ohms down a bit? Smaller gauge wire? Fewer wraps? Smaller wrapping "mold"?

Any and all tips would be greatly appreciated.

I use a 1/16th drill bit for all of my Kanger heads. Works like a dream with cotton wick. Because it is a little smaller, you will probably need a tiny flavor wick on top of the coiled wick to prevent flooding and leaking. I use 32 gauge, 5 wraps on a 1/16, and get 1.7 Ohms every time. It's just too easy. Glad you have discovered the wonders of rebuilding with cotton. So delicious! (Also, be sure that you are not getting any shorts or shorting out your coil with the top part of the atomizer head (chimney). If this sits on the coil, it will give you a high ohms reading.)

Everytime I try to use cotton I get flooding. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe you're using too little cotton? If not, try fluffing up the ends after you snip off the excess. Helps to "block" off the vents at the sides. I've never used a flavor wick on top, and never experienced any flooding. Lucky me!
