So after weeks of research and review i think ive narrowed it down to 2.....

I cant make my mind up whether i want to get the VAMO or the SVD................they both do what i need them to do but cant really narrow it even further to the final contestant.....

all comments and opinions are welcome!!!

Some good insight is preferred......:vapor:

I've heard a lot about the SVD being real sturdy feeling. To whom talked about the evic, I saw that and discouraged myself since it involves me plugging into computer and what not. Want something simple as far as APV is concerned.

Thanks for the comments. I look forward to more as the time comes to urge me to buy the one of the two.

Hi, that was me. I haven't plugged into the computer since I updated to my preferred firmware. No need, I use an external charger and several Panasonic batteries same as with my other devices.:D

Sounds to me like the SVD is the over all better choice. you could always pick up a bare bones Vamo later as a back up. Great for running a dripping atty like the IGO-L

I recently got a v2 SS vamo from Fastech. At the price it will be a solid backup. Fired it up and works great. One of the +/- buttons is not the same as the other, it is really stiff and very sensitive. I only have to brush my finger across it for it to activate. After a week of changing tanks the center pin pushed in and the threads are starting to loosen up. I expected these problems before I even ordered it and have fixed them so that it will work for me. I don't know if the version 3 has these problems so that might be a better option. I just recently noticed they have the SVD at a great price also. On impulse, I ordered one and it should be here this week. Whatever you choose it will be worth it.

I'd be a little leary about both the vamo and SVD cause both of them can be got out of fasttech. You could be paying a vendor top dollar for one of those fasttech versions. A evic would be a better choice cause they aren't in fasttech and your getting a genuine joyetech PV.

eVic is available there - price went up to comply with Joyetech.
Not relevant to the ops post.

Would also suggest if ever purchasing a Vamo and expecting durability to skip the Brass/chrome/black chrome and get Stainless Steel.

Evic has a lot of electronics and brains so to say for a pv. I've learned that the more complex the more things can go wrong.

There are a lot of good talk about myvaperstore.com though. They have both the vamo and SVD. I'm on the edge. I wish I could just get both. Haha
