what got me to be honest, is the long battery life, but most importantly to me , is not having to constantly replace coils, I am told the lifespan is great. Plus I do like to have one main home device, and others for going out and about, back ups etc. I was told the MVP is actually better, including its functions, multiple charging etc, and of course lighter. Am still researching in all honesty.

You can research till you have a 5 o .... shadow, no job, and a soiled pair of underoos. Or you can ACT! I personally liked the MVP and MVP 2 a lot more for new mod users in comparison to the VTR. The VTR is a specialty item that attempts at funneling people into using one type of clearomizer tank. I hear you CAN use different clearos with it, but some of them won't LOOK right on it. Pishaw. The MVP is probably the single best device on the market for newbs to mods. If only it used 18650 batteries.. I know the first MVP only went up to 5v.. This new MVP2 might (hopefully) go up to six volts. (I'd hope so) and its always got the option to see the wattage your using as well which is nice for new vapers to help them understand volts to ohms. NOT gonna be a good mod to GROW with, because using rebuildables on it would be kind of silly... But its a great mod to transition to from cig-alikes and eGo bats. I support you going for the MVP.

If you dont mind sticking to clearomizer tanks, then the VTR is nice, strong like bull, but heavy and annoying in the pocket I'd guess. But I know you'd be happy with the MVP. There are of course many other great new mod user mods. You can PM me with ANY questions!

Enjoy your vaping journey!

Hold on. :)

The business about replacing the coils has nothing to do with the MVP. The MVP comes WITH an iClear which does indeed last longer than most Kanger coils, but you can buy one of those independently. In fact, the "free" one with the MVP isn't even the best.

The MVP being "better" depends on what you are comparing with. Better than an eGo battery. Yes. Better than a Vamo or Zmax? now, that's down to personal choice. Better than a Spinner battery? - depends on what you put on top (clearomiser).

Keep looking. :)

If you want to keep people in the loop on a thread why not "like" the comment, even if you think it's a bit unsuitable.
