Looking for Recommendations

I'm looking for some recommendations on a good starter kit. I'm looking to curb my chew habit, I've slowed down to one dip per day but I would like to quit entirely for my oral health.

I've been doing some research, and have ordered an SV disposable just to see what I think of it. I'm already researching for an upgrade since I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it.

I'm not a fan of the big fancy e cigs, or mods as I've heard them called. I am wanting to get something similar to the KR808 pen. It needs to be slim enough to carry in a pocket.

What do you guys recommend? I'm not a heavy user so battery life really isn't all that important to me. I'll likely only use it two or three times per day. I've been looking at Smoov and V2 products online, but I have yet to stop into local shops and see their inventory.

Go local and see what they have. Then go online and find a good deal. Just buy some juice from them to keep them happy.

I second the trip to a local vape shop. I'd recommend the iStick 30 watt and the Aspire Nautilus Mini, two of the most dependable and easy to use vape products out there. At a local shop you can see their size. Both will be less expensive online.

I dipped for 30 years and had failed at every method to quit until I found vaping.

Like said above, go to a local vape shop and see what you like as far as hardware. Since one can of dip has the same nicotine content as 2 1/2 packs of cigarettes, you will probably want to start out with the highest nicotine level juice you can get then step your way down.
That was what worked for me.

I would agree that the best bet is to shop around at local shops to find a device that will work for you, definitely buy some juice to appease the vendors for taking the time to help you browse. Buying online is the best way to get a good price but make sure that you buy from a reputable online supplier. Ive heard lots of horror stories of people getting burned from buying online. Never happened to me, i always buy online and the company i deal with is awesome.

second the recommendation on the ego ONE - my wife has the full size one (not the Mega, though) and it works exceptionally well for her - will accomodate a variety of tank styles and is very user friendly - also going to be pretty close to the form factor you are looking for

not familiar with them specifically, but from their website, looks like a proprietary cig-alike - may want to consider something along the lines of an ego-twist set up with a tank if that is your inclination - not limited necessarily to a single vendor then for replacement coils/ cartos/ etc

,I would definitely go for a Istick 30w (or the new 40w TC for future needs, same price, more future proof) with a nautilus mini tank.
I tried several cig look a-likes (e-roll, evod 2 and emow) and they almost had me quit vaping as I found performance sub-par.
Than I found the combo Istick 20w (older model..now go for the 30W or 40W TC) and nautilus mini....the experience is so much better.....with the cig look-alikes I couldn't help but smoke some a-cigs once in a while, with the current combo no such urges.

Yes it is a MOD but very simple (put on the nautilus, adjust the wattage to about 9-12 watt and that's it) and pretty small and affordable. There is also a nice adapter so you can fold the tank next to the MOD to make it very compact when carrying it.

Try it and see the difference.

They're bigger than a cigalike but virtually everyone prefers or ends up preferring devices like these than those.

Forgive my exasperation, but if you are determined to use a small e-cig then you'd do well to avoid the brands you mention.

If you end up only using it a few times a day, then you can buy anything, sure; BUT if you start to use it more and more, not paying an extortionate price for over-hyped and over-marketed products makes sense to me.

What is the general opinion of this product? The price is certainly attractive. I'm really thinking about going this route, not much lost in the event that I don't like it. It has 153 reviews with a 5 star rating, must not be too bad.

I am interested in the Ego ONE and mini. From what I understand the ONE has a larger tank.

I went ahead and ordered the EVOD copy. For the price I don't think it can be beat, I got the e cig and a bunch of juice samplers for 26 bucks shipped.

EVOD replacement parts will fit it, so I don't have to worry about that.

(1st post here - *giddy*) i just started a week ago with an emow kit, and just upgraded to an eleaf istick 40w / innokin isub tank / emow tanks w adapter, and it is waaaay better (subjectively) than just the emow kit. love it!

Update: got a nice ipv4s, freemax starre pro, uwell crown, and sub tank miniv2, so that should prob keep me occupied for quite a bit.

Onward to look for juices better than the ones i have

another post to increase my count - currently pondering why my crown is underwhelming based in how good its reviews have been. maybe burnin through 1-2 tanks is needed?
