Jackaroo Tank?

Anyone else using this tank? A close friend has been using it for a month or so. Great flavor and the surprise is 16,000 puffs and still going. Using the .15 ohm installed coil running at 50w and DIY juice.

Is this normal? I am amazed and impressed. Wondering if this is an outlier and "lucky" coil, and could expect shorter coil life if more are purchased. A few reviews stated they last a long time.

You have answered your own question, kind of, sort of...

The secret is the DIY liquid. Likely, it had little or no sweetener. Sweeteners in commercial (and some DIY) liquids can kill coils in a hurry.

I've not had a coil last 16000 puffs that I know of (because I typically ignore the puff counter), but I have had some coils last several months when using DIY or select commercial liquids.

Another factor could be the wattage. I don't know exactly which coil, and do not have that tank... in fact, I just don't use sub ohm tanks, but a quick search shows that the 0.15 ohm mesh coil is rated 50 to 90 watts. Running the coil at the bottom of its rating would likely increase its lifespan.

Finally, there's the mesh... Mesh coils naturally tend to last longer than wire coils.

Might be hit or miss. Back before wicking I would occasionally get a zombie carto. Flavor great, everything wonderful for weeks - the thing simply refused to die. I'd finally get nervous and toss the thing for sanitary reasons.
