First, let me say that I love my M201. Big battery, big atomizer, big cartridge, lotsa vapor. Problem is, dependable parts are hard to find. The M201 just never caught on with most folks. True, the size of it can be a problem when out in the big city with little shirt pockets.
My love affair with the 510 was an off-and-on thing. The batteries just couldn't keep up with the intensity of my vaping habit. Nor could the cartridge capacity. Going out for the day could be problematic. Long road trips were out of the question. My quality time was taken up with charging batteries and filling cartridges. Bummer.
Since it came in the mail yesterday, I've been sucking on my new Janty eGo. It's a 510 dressed up for a party. Here's a battery with balls. Performed well for over 4 hours on the factory charge. I'm still vaping on the first full recharge. Lotsa warm, tasty vapor until the moment the battery shuts off, its little button light blinking the signal for a new charge. You gotta love it.
But then there's the fickle 510 cartridge. Same ol' same ol', except in the eGo it seems to perform much better than it did with the standard 510 manual batteries. Maybe it's my imagination. Yes, I still have to pamper it with juice way too frequently-- Like feeding milk to a kitten with an eye-dropper, but now I can make that nine hour road trip to Reno with one battery change and a fistful of 30 or so juiced-up spare cartridges, easy to change out at 70 miles per hour.
The plain truth is that until some clever, enterprising person is able to rethink the way juice is delivered to the atomizer, vaping will always be a less-than-popular smoking alternative.
