First, let me say that I love my M201. Big battery, big atomizer, big cartridge, lotsa vapor. Problem is, dependable parts are hard to find. The M201 just never caught on with most folks. True, the size of it can be a problem when out in the big city with little shirt pockets.

My love affair with the 510 was an off-and-on thing. The batteries just couldn't keep up with the intensity of my vaping habit. Nor could the cartridge capacity. Going out for the day could be problematic. Long road trips were out of the question. My quality time was taken up with charging batteries and filling cartridges. Bummer.

Since it came in the mail yesterday, I've been sucking on my new Janty eGo. It's a 510 dressed up for a party. Here's a battery with balls. Performed well for over 4 hours on the factory charge. I'm still vaping on the first full recharge. Lotsa warm, tasty vapor until the moment the battery shuts off, its little button light blinking the signal for a new charge. You gotta love it.

But then there's the fickle 510 cartridge. Same ol' same ol', except in the eGo it seems to perform much better than it did with the standard 510 manual batteries. Maybe it's my imagination. Yes, I still have to pamper it with juice way too frequently-- Like feeding milk to a kitten with an eye-dropper, but now I can make that nine hour road trip to Reno with one battery change and a fistful of 30 or so juiced-up spare cartridges, easy to change out at 70 miles per hour.

The plain truth is that until some clever, enterprising person is able to rethink the way juice is delivered to the atomizer, vaping will always be a less-than-popular smoking alternative.

I think if you got yourself some metal or plastic drip-tips you'd be a real happy camper. :D I haven't messed with carts and fillers for a couple of months now and am seriously considering throwing out all that messy stuff.

I've been vaping for over a year, but will be the first to admit I don't know everything about it. Metal or plastic drip-tips? Where to I find info on these?

A lot longer than a cartridge will. I've found cartos make for the easiest driving solution. On my upcoming roadtrip the plan is to use cartos and a 510 passthrough plugged into a 12volt usb charger.

not trying to hijack thread...just saying...

i thought the same with the pt in the car, and still went back to carts and bottles of e-liqiud at hand.

the 5 pt's i made just had a hole that e-liquid was poured into (juice hog)...and i tried dse 103, 901, 801, joye 510, kr808 carto (did not have 510 carto then) and even a two hour trip would dry em out (i now have a block of duck taped wood with holes and put attys and full carts in, unused, uprite, used, upside down...yes, atty on a full cart) have been to denver 2 times last year once this year, 23 hours, 18 hours, and 26 hours drive times, had a trailer 1st and third time.
and the first trip had 3 PT's ( different volts)

i am looking at the thing scottbe talks about with e-liquid blocked except for center that touches the atty bridge allowing the e-liquid to be.....well, be wicked... so it should hold a cart of e-liquid no filler and no leaks, i gotta try it.
any way, when i got aroud to a carto, even at 3.9-4.2vdc i would get the same limited amout of use before refilling needed, and cartos smell when i push them, as told by others in van, first time everybody thought i blew a headgasket....hehehe

so i just have the block of wood and prefilled attys ready to go, safer for driving...and use the pt's for dry burns well one of them anyway :) and SD's and ego batts are my power supplies of choice

There is also the mega 510 atties and carts. They hold more juice. If you get an adapter for the 510 to KR808/901 you can use the better Premium,Turbo, super duper or whatever cartomizers that hold more juice than the plain 510 cartomizers. Or as suggested learn dripping and use a manual PT in the car or home.

You might want to look into the ZFM cart. Holds more juice than those with fillers.

I guess I haven't been paying attention lately. The ZFM cart is certainly an interesting rethink of the cartridge concept. I'm now thinking the ZFM mod is preferable to the cartomizer option, considering how much simpler it is. And probably cheaper too. At some point you've got to trash the cartomizer. A 510 with the ZFM cart on a PT running off a USB car adapter would probably get me many miles down the road before having to re-juice. I'll order the ZFM and give it a test.

Thanks for the tip.

My sentiments exactly...until the coil-atty (delivery system) is radically improved its only half way there. Keeping these things in the "sweet spot" can be fussy, certainly too much so for some to become mainstream. LOL Its working, but 8-o....how archaic.

Chances of that entrepreneur making it happen are getting better as these gain popularity and potential market profit is seen.;)

Remember to ask for the H cut cause the others flood 510 attys. They are better for 901s I was told. If the plugs get too soft then read up on the tips. They can be made harder again for longer life. I dont mess with it just put in a new plug...I bought extras!;)
