Morning guys and gals, I just got my ego last night abd after charging my batteries fully I loaded up the ry4 carts and vaped away. However, it seems my arty is burning a small hole in the mesh of my cart and I am loosing vapor and a majority of flavor Like it is running out of juice . This is happening after about 3 minutes of vaping. I also just keep topping it off. It's weird because when I do top it off, it only takes about 2 drops from my eliquid. Then the problem happens again.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

The eGo/Tornado can cause the atty to run warmer than on a traditional 510 battery. I'd be surprised if it really got hot enough to "burn" the poly... but one never knows.

If you're new to vaping.... you may need to slow down. Take a couple of drags and then allow the PV to cool down a bit before the next session. While you're getting the hang of it, running with the atty cover off may be a wise move.

Ummmm.. OK.

Is is VERY, VERY rare for a 510 atty (that's what the eGo uses) to actually "burn" a cart. That would mean that the bridge is getting to over 400 degrees... and that just doesn't happen with normal use. Period.

So, if your atty is actually burning your polyfill, you are either using it grossly wrong... or there is a defect with your atty.

If there is a defect with your atty, then it is covered by a 6 month warranty, which is unheard-of in this industry.

I understand what you are saying and I don't believe I am using it wrong I will post a picture when I'm off work.

And to quote myself:

Sounds like you are out running the wicking ability of the poly in the cart. Common around here.:D

Check out cart mods, dripping or topping off, which is what you are doing
.

You are expecting more than the cart 'as is' can deliver. So wrong or not it's not going to work the way you are attempting to use it.

OK.. back to the OP... I got my eGo yesterday. Experienced exactly the same thing... except the burning part... it is not burnt, it is just the indent that the atty puts into the cart.. I tried my eGo with the setup that Janty sent. In my opinion, the carts that are pre filled are not that great. a few hits and they are done. I tried this with the Janty Aty and another 510 new atty.
So then I used one of my modified carts with the blue foam plug with the Janty Atty... it was OK.. not amazing. I swithchet the atty to the regular 510 I was using before, and WOW....

So I have set the Janty atty aside as a spare, and now using the original 510 attys... So far, from a battery life perspective, I am getting about 6 hours per bat, which is awesome considering the mega bats only last 1 to 1.5 hours with me ! I also love the feel of the Janty...
