I believe the word you were looking for was Pulse Width Modulation, where the PCB pulses the voltage 3.0 and 3.7V respectively providing a 3.2V avg. many get hung up on this lower # (3.2) which as you and I both know is psychological. I have made a true 3.7V eGo with an 18650 under the hood, so
vaping with a "cone" characteristic was maintained. I prefer the eGo at 3.2V. No it is not psychological, there is a noticeable delivery difference.
Wrt the USB cord, any "mini" USB cord will work and you can get a "straight" one from any PC store for use.
