:rolleyes:The janty stick is small and having a E cig look like a cigarette just can cause more of a problem then it’s worth people have a trained response to something that looks and has the same color a a real smoke and has a vapor that looks like smoke, I find less trouble with my kissbox that looks like a pen

I agree with you. But what got so many of us to switch from analogs to ecigs is the way it looks. We where till able to feel like we where smoking.

I can hear analog smokers now seeing the Janty Stick and saying "I'm not smoking that space box"

Besides do you really think the FDA is going to go away because the ecigs now look like lighters? The FDA doesn't care what it looks like, it's what's inside.

I would rather it look like a cigarette personally, but I'm at the point where I just want the damn things to work. I would like something reliable once we have that, perhaps then we can work on size.

I would like for them to work also, us ex-smokers don't need the hassle that were getting from the failers of our equipment. Put it down it was working, pick up it don''t work. Very stressful.:evil::evil:

here is the email and the questions i asked and the answers i got from orders@jantyusa.com.

Q- What kind of atomizers can be used with this? A- Any Classic Penstyle atomizer would work including the RN4072 or 801 series.
Q- is there a usb pass threw built in? A- Yes, the plug that charges the device serves as a pass through. When it is plugged in and charging you can smoke with full power.
Q- Do only the first 100 have a 1 year warranty? A- Yes, they will come with a 6 month warranty after the special edition release.
Q- Is this going to produce vapor like the screwdriver or pen style ecigs? A- Yes it will.

I'm really looking forward to seeing reviews of the Janty Stick. From what I've seen, you can rig up a comparable manual switch version with about $10 worth of components from Radio Shack, a pack of batteries and charger from DealExtreme, and an 801 atomizer from anywhere, AND you could manage to source a battery with larger capacity for longer operation. On the downside, it wouldn't have the USB passthrough/charger without more work, and it would only look as good as you are good with your hands. ;)

I personally prefer a box-style PV to the 901, 801, 701, etc., when I am in public, particularly in indoor spaces where smoking is prohibited. When a PV does not resemble a cigarette's size and shape, there is no confusion or adverse response from parties that do not have enough information to distinguish between a PV and cigarette.

I'm seriously considering the stick. I love penstyles. My biggest problem with them is that they are big and sometimes dont fit in my pocket. I also love the idea of using cheap more widely available batteries. The third plus for me is being able to use a usb cord of decent quality. All of the pass-thrus Ive tried have super flimsy cords.
