Jax FL Newbie awaiting my first order.

Hey all! New guy here. A friend of mine has been vapeing since I've know him, and I finally tried his magic device. As a soon to be ex-Camel smoker, I was pleased with what I experienced. So I googled these e-cigs, found this forum, and spent 3 days straight reading all about these e-cigs.

Using the forum, I found a supplier in Orlando and hit up their website. Bought a Joye 510 starter kit, ( in fashionable black ) a few empty cartomizers, and an assortment of flavored juices. I've been going nuts with anticipation!

My girl and I are both dumping the cancer sticks and jumping on the vape wagon. Just wanna say thanks for the forum, and all the great info that lead me to commit to quitting the coffin nails, and actually enjoying inhaling my nicotine again.

Through this forum I've learned how to fill, clean, mod, and pimp my vape, and I don't even have one yet! Looking forward to learning, sharing, and vapeing!

Yay! Good decision for both of you. I think you'll like the 510. I started there but moved to an eGo (same thing, bigger battery = longer lasting) pretty quickly. I've been vaping now since June 30th and am still loving it. The regular cigs will just fade away as you get into this.....(and some of your money! lol)

You should have seen how excited I was when I got my first ecig! I had been without a cigarette for days, and I was so excited that I ripped open the box and the contents went flying everywhere! It took me forever to find my atomizers, which had been lost in the wreckage. I'm a devoted E-cig vaper now, and will never go back to those "cancer sticks." I know you'll love E-cigs!

Got my 510's on friday, and have gone the weekend vapin' through the assortment of trial juices. Did the ADM to a couple of carts, and love it! Working on a mod for the cartos.

Sunday night, girl and I shared a camel light, and I couldn't even taste it. Had a few puffs, and went and grabbed my PV.

Girl and I are both very satisfied with the switch! And now I we can both enjoy flavor inside the house!

Thanks ECF for being a clearinghouse of info regarding PVs and how to enjoy them.

I've ordered
1. more juice from FSUSA - LOVED IT!
2. USB PT and more juice from eSmokerOnline - LOVE IT!
3. Planning on spending even more of my "ciggie" money on more trial juices

Vaping is my new habit.

It sounds like you're hooked, but it's a lot better than the alternative and more fun too. How have you liked the 510 now that you've lived with it for a while?

Love it. Perfect size for social activites, plus the USB PT / DRIP method for at home on the computer. Lots of flavor and easy to use. With the mods etc found on ECF, it is a fun hobby too!

My girl says I'm obsessed. I tell her, "I'm not obsessed, I just can't stop!" But she's a vape lover too now.

I may do a home-brew box mod in the future, but we'll see.

I've thought about a box mod, they're cheap and you can customize it to get what you want. Here's a source for kits and parts: DIY Mod Parts. It looks like you can build one for ~$20 if you want. I've thought about buying parts in case a ban does actually go through, at least a few connectors so I can use my stash of atty's after my batt's die.

JohnG, At some point after mid October (I am really in and out of town a lot till then) we should meet and I can bring some mods and the like with me for you and your other half to try out. You know we have a Nic supplier not to far away from us! I also have plenty of DIY supplies you could go thru. LOL
