When I opened the bottle, I was immediately intrigued. I could sense the lemon, a hint of strawberry and pear, and I knew I was going to like it. I put this juice in my iClear 30 on my MVP2. JAZZ requested that for the review I use a tank or clearomizer, because, per my sales contact, “Our flavors are overwhelming to some tastebuds in drippers.”
When I began vaping this liquid, I was immediately reminded of a favorite treat of mine, frozen strawberry lemonade. The notes were subtle, but it was really refreshing. A major complaint I have with quite a few liquids I have used is that they nail the flavor they describe, but they lack sweetness. I don’t like anything super sweet, but more than a few have been really missing the mark; certain flavors require a slight sweet note, or they are underwhelming. I am happy to say that Jonny Cooltrain is not one of those! On the inhale, I immediately get the lemonade and little strawberry, and on the exhale, there it is! That sweet note I have been searching for. To me, this is a perfectly balanced liquid. The flavors are very easy to detect while not being overpowering in any way.
I did add a drop of my menthol just to see how it would taste, and it adds the missing menthol I crave in most juices, but truth be told, this one is just fine without it.
