Our little cocker, Jazzy Sue is having her puppies any time this weekend through next wensday, since she got pregnent she has become the pickiest eater we've ever seen, she won't eat any dry dog food, no canned dog food ( I'v bought all kinds, you name it) she won't touch anything unless it's on our plate, I'v tried cooking her a hambuger patty and she'll just sniff it and walk away unless it's on one of our plates, same with eggs, I'v now resulted to cooking her the same thing we are having, keeping it on our plates till we're done and then letting her have the plate, some times she even passes that up, the vet said it is most likely a mental thing with the pregnancy, and she should get over it after she has the pups, I sure hope so, I give her a high calorie booster and vitamins every day for the puppies sake, she's not sickly or anything like that, in all our live's we've never had a dog act this way when pregnent, I will be sooo glad when the puppies arrive, hopefully all healthy.

Tried not feeding her anything and her climb's all over you whining, but we stuck to our guns and she did eat a little bit of wienner's the next morning, that all she wanted, we tried mixing her food with our food on our plate's, she won't touch it, she did eat the Beneful prepared meals for a few days, than she would not touch them again, I'v done some reading up on it and one place said to try cottage cheese and yorgurt, she won't touch them either, the one consulation is that some people said their dog did the same thing. When the vet checked her he said she was perfectly healthy. It's nerve wracking no to mention all the dog food and human food I'v had to dump down the drain, I'll leave it set out for a few hour's but after that I'm afraid it's going bad so I dump it. I'm frustrated to say the least and poor little Jazzy, she's just so sweet in every way but this, hopefully it will be over soon with good results. Praaaying.

View attachment 31420 My female's name is Jazzy too...LOL

Your Jazzy's a real cutie Wiskey, our cocker we had before Jazzy ( Christa Sue) got bred (accidentaly) by a little black schanuzer that ran around the golf course we lived on, the puppies were so cute, needless to say we kept one little girl, named her pepper, she looked more schanuzer than cocker and was just the sweetest little friend anyone could want.

Have you tried taking Jazzy for a walk? To the mall? Watched a scary movie with her? I did all those things with my daughter and my grandson was still late!

Sh walks plenty, if fact she wants to run and play, my granddaughter came over yester day to get her excited, hopeing that would do the trick but nada.
