Since her hubby is arriving today and she's going to be busy moving and honeymooning (without us:(), I wanted her to have her own thread for the day.

Jennee, I can't imagine all the emotions you are feeling today -- probably LOTS of excitement and a bit of sadness over leaving a city you've called home for a while and friends.

Here's to hoping that the move goes smoothly and the honeymoon is FABULOUS. We will, of course, expect some great posts telling us all (well, most of it anyway) when you return and get settled.

Best wishes to you and your DH.

Awww Thanks Sudoku! :D I am happy and excited today that I do finally get to see my DH. However, a little nervous about the moving. Not the moving itself, but living with someone. I haven't lived with someone in 6.5 years! 8-o I moved to Houston by myself 6.5 years ago. I was 22 single, no kids, moving to a GIANT City from a town of 32,000 in the midwest. I wasn't scared, I wasn't nervous, I wasn't even sad leaving my hometown. However, since I have been in Houston, I have made my own "home". I have developed this little "man made" family with my closest friends, and I truly gained my independence here. With that said, I am a little sad leaving Houston and hope to someday be able to live here again. Now, Honeymoon! :D :hubba:  Of course I will share some stuff with yall. (SOME) LOL. And I will post pics in my album, however there will be NO bikini shots posted. Not in THIS forum anway. We all know I cause enough trouble as it is. :p

LOL about no bikini pics!

I've always felt sad when moving on to a new location, even when I was truly ready to move. I do believe that people come into our lives...for a purpose...and at the right time. Because of that belief, I don't get upset over losing contact with so many people I've met. Those people were in my life when I needed them (and I in theirs). So knowing them was a blessing. Then there are those that are meant to be life-long friends. You know the kind, the ones when you get together after several years it's not like you've ever been apart. I have that kind of friendship with a friend that I met in 4th grade.

Anyway, the friends you've made in Houston will always be there for you, no matter how much or how little contact you have with them.

And, I wouldn't worry too much about living with another person...yes, there will be some adjustments but think how much fun it's going to be too...woohoo!!!
