So I finally built up the nerve to drill through the chimney of my kayfun! I drilled 2 holes through the sides to make it function like the OCC coils of the Kanger Subtank. Works like a charm and wicks like a boss with NO burnt or dry hits or leaking. Has anyone else tried this? I came up with the idea and couldn't find it anywhere on the web!

I drilled through the center of the "fog chamber", installed over the wicks, cut them about 1/2" above fog chamber and gently stuffed them down over the deck in front of the newly drilled holes. I will try to take and upload some picks after work. Been using it all day and still no girgles,dry/burnt hits or leaks. Vaping around 18 watts where before 13 was my limit before things got to be a problem. I'm sure I could probably run it around 25 to 30 watts with a little more tinkering.

Were you having problems before doing this? Curious why you did it.
Only had problems as I passed about 15watts. Now I can push it to about 35 watts and really increase the flavor since it wicks so much faster. But more than anything, I just like to tinker, had an idea and ran with it!
