I'm going to try it on mixed green salad to see what that's like. I can't get over the high prices charged for salad dressings - ridiculous! Was on amazon today to look at the new canning books, and they have updated quite a lot for the new tastes - no longer just jellies and pickles. Thinking about preserving some cooking sauces for stir-frys and maybe as salad dressings.
