How is anything he said (those things posted here, at least) wrong at all? A hyphenated name shows divided loyalties, and is divisive of people. We are all American period. He refuses to apologize or feel guilty about something he did not do. Nothing dishonorable there. And he believes in equal rights for everyone, not special rights for certain groups.

If this country is so bad, why are people dying to come here? If you dislike this country so much, why don't you move to another one? Unlike many countries, we don't prevent anyone from leaving.

Well said I fully agree with you.

I know he never served in combat but I am just saying what I read. It sounds like it was an honorary one.

Reading and comprehension really must be two different things. You cannot receive a Medal of Honor as a civilian. End of story. You must have distinguished yourself in combat while in the service during an armed conflict. Most are given posthumously. He received "civilian awards" not the "Medal of Honor". He never served in combat because he was never a member of any of our Armed Forces. He never enlisted!!!! He was a Hollywood actor!
A great one, but, just an actor.

So I guess what your saying is he did not recieve the Medal of Honor?

Cause uhh I thought he did.

You thought wrong, and would've realized it had you read.
He was not awarded the military's highest award for valor, the Medal of Honor. Do you all understand that only a serviceman or woman can be awarded this honor? Did any of you read any of the links I posted?
Do you all realize he was never a member of the Armed Forces of the United States? He only played them in the movies?

Let's have a little example:
Geraldo Rivera in the Middle East gets shot in the .... reporting the news. He doesn't get a Purple Heart, because he's not in the military, he's a civilian. Private Joe gets shot in the ...., he gets a Purple Heart, because he's wounded in battle in the service of his country's military. Understand the difference?
