I don't mean to put anyone down that likes these flavours, but I was not impressed. I started off with a few nic-less coffee and virginia flavor cartridges that came with my 510 and those flavours were pretty weak so i thought the lack of nicotine was what was missing. So i ordered the Johnson Creek liquids and it wasn't the answer. I've quit smoking for a couple of years now so I was looking for the sensation/feeling and satisfaction of habit more than the nicotine. I'm vaping this on a 510 manual battery with stock cartridge+poly fill. I also tried one cart with the teabag and no difference between them in taste.
Johnson Creek - Vanilla Ice-Cream, 11mg PG
-tastes like eating a cigarette a bit. The vanilla flavour/odour is not very noticeable and the main detectable flavour is the tangy/bitter taste of nic (not tobacco but nic). I liken this taste most closely to chewing tobacco which I tried once and didn't like much.
Johnson Creek - Mint Chocolate, 11mg PG
-tastes like eating a cigarette with the aftertaste of a mild mint. The odour was much more pleasant and detectable than the vanilla, but still mainly tasted like the chewing tobacco.
Johnson Creek - Tennesse Cured, 11mg PG
-I actually haven't tasted this yet, but I can only assume based on its odour from the bottle that it tastes much like the above, but without the aftertaste or flavor odour.
Has anyone else experienced the same thing with JC flavours and can tell me if other brands have the same problem? I may be wanting to trade liquid with someone in the GTA Toronto area or maybe straight sell this stuff off. I bought three 30ml bottles so I guess I'll have this stuff for a while if I don't trade them out. I may even be interested in trading for non-nicotine liquids if someone confirms that all liquids taste like chewing tobaccs.
Strangly enough, I can say this about the nicotine liquids and the chewing tobacco both, but the sensation is almost like having someting crystalize in my mouth. Strange.. this isn't so with an analog.
