Hi:
I am using a Joye Ego-C Twist (usually set to about 4.0). I have tried multiple clearomizers (Vision Vivi-Nova, Vision Victory, Kanger MT3), and I end up with severe leaking on all of them. It seems that it only happens with one particular juice (Johnson Creek ½ Domestic, ½ Tennessee Cured, 100% VG). The only clearo it will work with consistently is the Vision Ego 2.0, but the problem with those is that it holds so little juice, and after about 2 weeks, they start to separate at the bottom (where the plastic meets the chrome), and juice starts to leak out.

I am also having another problem, using Kanger Protank 3, same juice and battery, it will work perfectly for a little while, then starts leaking, and I guess it would be dry hitting, then doesn't ever work again. The pro tank 3 double coil head only worked for about ½ hour. I then tried a pro tank 1, 2.4ohm head. That one worked perfectly for 2 days, then did the same thing.

I don't seem to have problems with other juices, using Vision Vivis.

Is there a such a think as a juice that just won't work with any clearomizers? It is rather thin consistency, could that be the problem? What could I be doing wrong? I hope it's not my juice because it's my favorite. I am desperate to find a good clear that will work with this juice.

Please help, Thanks so Much!

Sounds like the liquid is too watery but more information would be nice.

What wicking material are you using?

Personally, I found cotton to be really efficient at holding and absorbing any liquid that you throw at it but it won't be able to stop a really watery liquid. Silica wick (which I presume is what you're using since you're not rebuilding) is not very efficient at holding liquids in place.

How is your airflow?

Restricted airflow can cause flooding and I've had this happen numerous times. You might enjoy a tight airflow but it can cause pressure to build up quickly, resulting in flooding and leakage.

You didn't say if you were leaking into the mouthpiece or onto the battery (or elsewhere). If the latter, your problem may be that the pin on your mod is pushed in. If so, there's an easy fix; check on youtube for instructions. It could also be that you are overtightening the head onto your mod. When mounting you tank, screwing just until you feel initial resistance -- and then stop and test. If you have power/vape, do not tighten more. I had a ego (a cheap clone ) with both these issue.

I regularly rock on JC Domestic, Tennessee Cured and Vanda (100% VG) without issue on a mini-Protank 2 (and MVP2). Good luck.

Hi:
Thank so much for your reply.
I am just using whatever the standard wicking material that comes in the various different heads (Vivi Nova, Protank, MT3 etc).
My airflow varies. It is much tighter on the MT3 and airier on the others. I have not done anything to adjust this. All my clearomizers are stock.
Thanks again!

Hi:
Thanks so much for your reply also :)
That may definitely be the issue. I will try to tighten less and see how it goes. I will also try the youtube fix you mentioned.
I have a feeling your tips will help.
Thanks again!!!!
