I never really got it. I have seen more JC bashing from people that even never tried their products. My wife and I have been vaping since Sept. 24th of 09. Roughly five good months. NO ANALOGS...NONE... GREAT STUFF..
We both have used JC .. Tenn cured and Artic Menthol. We tried other flavors but we felt they were weak,, just our taste... Never have we had a atty go bad from their juice. and all this talk about it being to thick, we have not seen it. I mix juice with vg that is way thicker.
Anyway the point is,, JC has come out with their new line called Red Oak.
People, let me tell you.. just unreal,,,
I ordered the sample kit: 18mg and WOW!!!
The Swiss dark: is a chocolate that I can honestly say is the Best ever.
I have searched as many to find that special chocolate. Not weak at all, and the richest blend of chocolate flavoring you can imagine.
The Island Blend: is a blend maybe tasting like real mango and other beachy flavors.. very mellow and relaxing.
The Wisconsin Frost: doesn't taste cheap..not like true menthol, more minty, flavorful and yes frosty.
The other three flavors in the kit I have not tried yet, so no short comments about them.. You have to buy and try for yourself to find out.. ha. I just was so taken by the flavors so far i had to shout this out.
And as with all of JC's juice theres always that underlying tobacco flavor with with the Red Oak,, seems to enhance the final taste.
You either love JC or you hate them...
I do not work or have any ties with JC..
I buy alot of different juices and i personally enjoy strong flavors.
I just wanted to say that i know for me JC has a winning line in Red Oak and please, to all of you on ECF, try products for yourself and don't take someones opinion as the truth.. even mine... How many times has someone said that movie sucked and when you saw it you loved it... OK?
Hope someone else finds this to be a good recommendation..

Thanks...

Very nice review. I've always heard bad things about JC, but your review might have just tipped the scale for me. Unfortunately, I just ordered about 200 ml of e-liquid from five different vendors in 20 different flavors...but I might be able to find some extra change lying around for one of those fancy Red Oak starter kits.

There is talk about it being too thick?

I used to use it all the time and found it to be too thin.
And that was always the consensus as far as I knew.

Did you make a mistake there?
Or have they DRASTICALLY changed their formula recently?

Are you talking about PG juice, or something different?

I really miss the good old Tennessee Cured.
It was one of my favorites, other than how thin it was.

I have tried all of the JC Original sample pack and most of the Red Oak. I really like most of the Original to the point where I've just put in a pretty decent size order of 30ml bottles. I use a combination of the Original, Tennesee cured and a drop of vanilla as my morning and sometimes most of the day vape. The taste on these is really good. I also got a couple of bottles of the Spiced Apple Cider, the taste is fantastic. Not too sweet, light and still very flavorful. I'm working my way through the Red Oak. I'm sure I'm going to find some favorites in there too, but considering I just ordered 9 more bottles of the original flavors, I have plenty of time. The only disappointment I've had with JC was the swiss chocolate in the Red Oak sample pack. Mine did some kind of weird seperation thing so that sometimes I would get a nice flavorful drag and the next nothing. It looked like the mixture was actually seperating on the cart fill. As far as customer service and shipping, they've been outstanding. I clean all my vaping equipment every night, but I haven't had a problem yet with an atomizer. (I use a sidesho from Modern Vapor) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend JC. Their products are terrific and the shipping time is fast.

From my readings i have found most people saying that JC was thick, i to have found it thin but that not being a bad thing. You want thin? Try the Hooka series juice from Strickly, Great full flavor, but twice now, i just poured a stream out of the bottle. but will order again and again.
I think basically i wanted to write just a positive about JC's company and line of quality products and just let some people know that there are many of us really enjoying their efforts.
And yes, Tenn Cured is just kick ....

There was a period of time in the past where many people were complaining about Johnson Creek products. If you research some of the old threads people were saying that it would kill their attys or had a horrible taste. I think that there was even a case where someone said that it was turing stuff green if i remember correctly.

I personally miss the Original Johnson creek formula of Peach Cobbler. Man, that tasted fantastic! The new Summer Peach just does not hold a candle to it. I have some old formula in stock that I have been using sparingly, and there has been nothing made since that tastes as good as that does.

I sacrificed a bunch of it when I got my juice box and man did it taste great!

I love JC! not a fan of the Red Oak line but everything else I can wholeheartedly recommend.

JC Summer Peach is my favorite vape of all time and if you have not tried the seasonal flavor Spiced Apple Cider get some now it's amazing.

Never had any atty problems with it but when I was reading about that they were always older threads so I'm thinking they revamped the formula long before I ever made my 1st order which was back in Oct.

Tennessee Cured.

Back when I first got into E-cigs I did business with JC. I had their Sample Pack V2 and liked about half of it. Anyway Tennessee Cured is my favorite.

My problem is, they aren't on Amazon.com any more (I have an account there, one click shopping that saves me a lot of time and trouble writing out checks and taking them to the post office). Too bad, I miss that sample pack and Tennessee Cure a lot.

I really wanted to love the Red Oak starter kit from JC. I found the liquids very thin and altho I liked the Valencia's flavor, both it and the Mercado juices seemed to kill my attys. No vapor, strange flavor, poor performance from both attys even long after I got the juice out and did extensive cleaning. Both attys were broken in but good and fresh up to the point I put the JC juice in.

I asked to return them for a refund and JC jumped right on getting me a shipping label for them, so no complaints there. I am really sad about it since I wanted to love the juices but after the exp with my attys I'm not sure I will risk it again... :( Glad people out there have had GOOD experiences, but it's kind of shocking there seems to be so much inconsistency??? Bad batches? I dunno... Maybe someone out there would be willing to sell me a partial bottle they think is GOOD from JC so I can see the difference?!

I ordered a 0 nic sampler pack. It was my first juice order from anyone. My only regret? Going 0 nic. Out of the pack, I loved the original, Tenn. cured, vanilla and espresso. Not big on chocolate flavored smoke and the strawberry is bland. The black cherry is a good mixer.

I've tried several coffee flavors and so far JC is the best. I love the sampler bottles. I might order another set just for the bottles!

I haven't tried the red oak yet. Might give it a shot once my pocket recovers from all my initial experimenting.

I Just ordered 3 bottles from them. 2 tennessee cured which WAS my favorite and 1 red oak Domestic flavored to try out. I have to say i wish i would have known how good the red oak domestic is as i would have ordered 3 of them instead of the tennessee cured. If your looking for a real tobacco flavor the red oak domestic can't be beat.

Hi all
Just ringing back again. After reading the posts here, my point, apples and oranges. King of fools just wrote in how good the domestic is to him/her, (have to be careful with that, don't want to call someone the wrong gender... Ha!) I vaped the domestic after I read his tread and not to much of nothing. To my taste buds, i get almost no flavor, like vaping pg or vg.. now, nothing wrong with that, but my point once again is please, everyone should try a flavor that was brought up or else hold your opinions, because you really have none. To me, this should pertain to all companies and flavors..
NOTE, But I truly am enjoying the Choco, Island and Frost from the red oak sampler pack.
Still haven't tried the valencia and marcado... will be back with that

I have vaped for a little over a year now and have been a big fan of JC i love there cured and regular tobacco flavors they do one heck of a job with there packaging and labeling I haven't had any real trouble with my atomizers but i use njoy pen style tend to be finicky anyways. The free little bottles you get to carry away from home nice touch too. I love the apple cider too very nice flavor and used so much of the espresso stuff got burnt out on it LOLOLOL I keep asking for an apple flavor hope they get on soon. All in all the only juice i use.
