Hello everyone, I am 28 and have been smoking analogs since I was about 15. So, for 13 years I've smoked about 1/2 - 3/4 of a pack a day. This has been horrible and like others I can't quit. I've tried snus and other methods dis-including the patch with no success. For me I am fairly sure my addiction lies with the whole activity of smoking, not nicotine alone. This stresses me out because I have never seen a substitute for the real thing.

Until now.

About 6 months ago I discovered the electric cigarette. The first I seen was Blu. After reading a bunch about that particular brand I decided to order a starter kit. Bad mistake! After doing even more poking around with reviews and other users here on this forum and canceled my order immediately after I ordered it. As if the 4-6 week delivery wasn't bad enough. I mean, what is wrong with Blu?! All that fancy, eye catching advertisements and they can't keep up with supply and demand? How idiotic is that? You'd think with all the money they get they would fix that problem.

ANYWAYS. lol. That same day I settled on buying a Joye 510 starter kit NOBOX for $40 out the door. Not bad. Cignot has been great. That should arrive tomorrow and I am finally going to take the first step to cutting down and then quitting. I can't wait for the added health benefits. To think, I will taste and smell things better! I'm so excited about this whole thing. I really know deep down inside that I can quit this time! Things in my life have changed dramatically over the past 5 years. I've gotten happily married, just had our baby son who is now 2yrs old, got a great job, place to live, ect.. The past year was pretty harsh though as I got laid off from a previous job and was hardly making it. With that stress I was smoking more than ever.

Soon.. It will all be over.. If I quit within the next month or so, I'd call that soon. lol :)

my story isnt much different other than I have a 1 yr old not a 2 yr old and I smoked about double..till I got my order from Cignot :) Make sure you get some juice though. Theres every flavor you can think of out there. I love Nhaler for my juice, personally. Good luck! The first few days can be rough and theres that infamous learning curve you will read about on here. But its not even a month for me and I dont smoke..I just DONT and its not even hard.

Yeah, I agree. I plan on getting a PCC, pass thru cable, more atomizers and a extra battery with plenty of juice. How long do you think the 5 carts will last that come with the starter kit? I am not sure about what the nicotine dosage is in them. 12 or 24? Either way, if I find a good source of juice I'm sure it wont take long to ship here. Especially if they are in my area.

Thanks for the reply

You've made a smart choice with Cignot and it sounds like you've already got your mind made up to quit and believe me when I tell you that you really can do it if you really want to.

36+ years of smoking and I quit instantly and have since purchased my 510 with accessories from Cignot too - best thing I've done. The success stories just continue to be posted here and that in itself is motivating to me.

Good Luck!

5 carts would last me just over a day so get a liquid order in NOW.

Welcome Aboard!

Well, I see you got in touch with a good supplier (Cignot.com) and got a 510 no box.

That's who I got most of my stuff from and juice (I like their cappuccino).

I would advise you get some juice, five factory filled cartridges will only last you a few days. When you eventually order some juice, get it as strong as you can...then get some mix juice--it's cheaper that way.

Finally, don't forget to 'line up' your cartridge with the atomizer.

Welcom r3p3ntiv3!!!

The ladies at Cignot are fantastic. You can't go wrong with them.
Take a look around the forum, there is a lot of information to be had.

I've been vapping about 2 and a half weeks now - even mixing my own juice!! Haven't quit analogs yet. Smoked for over 20 years started with Marlboro's, switched to Camels, back to Marl. Red 100's. When the prices went sky high, it was the cheapest (and nastiest) smokes I could find.
Went from 2 packs a day down to 3-4 smokes a day. Not bad for a hard core.

Congrats on your life and e-cigs!
