That is what it means. Supposedly on the 27th of January, I will have spent the same amount I would have spent had I continued smoking analogs. Of course, after the 27th, it should start showing savings. (Provided i don't buy anything else until then).

In that case, I won't even ask what all equipment you have! I can see where it would be easy to want to buy a bunch of different PVs and juices and stuff with your former analog allowance. I'm so glad I found this forum so I can see what other people think before I buy next time!

I only see one huge speed bump on your path. Pray your luck is better than mine in their ship time. Maybe a timeline would help:

Week one: Read on the blu a bunch not knowing anything else exists, get excited I can quit without actually quitting, order 2 blu kits... $120

Week two: Get sick of waiting on any true word from blu, find Volcanos are pretty much identical. Order them thinking backups never hurt. They show up 3 days later. Another $120

Week three: Within 3 days I realize the Volcanos are worthless and their proprietary cartridges are a money making scheme when they're more like 2 regular cigarettes than the 7 they claim. Somewhere in here I discover the all mighty ECF get frustrated from TOO much info and eventually order 2 510 kits, some spare parts for them, and some juices. Another $180

Week four: 510s and juices show up, realize the volcanos aren't THAT bad if you drip some real juice into their carts but still far short of stopping a CAW smoker from vaping exclusively. After 4-5 days still feel the 510s leave me feeling something wasn't quite there, seeing peeps on ECF happy that LF has the Rivas back in stock for only $30 I order 2 kits and more juices. Another $100. End of week four: blus show up. I laugh as I pull them out, fill out the RMA and send them back.

Three weeks later and I still haven't been credited back on my visa from blu. Through that month we emailed blu twice and called them twice, always with them saying "they're on their way". Horrible, horrible company to do business with. They're only nice when they're trying to sell you something.

That was my experience anyways. I'd suggest just jump to the 510 or Riva right now. I guarantee it will show up before the blus will and cost less. :(

Wow, you went through the wringer! I know in the past, blu had horrible ship times, but it seems like everyone who has ordered them lately gets them within five days. Monday when I got the email, they gave me a USPS tracking number, so I'm hoping they actually shipped them and didn't make it up! I'm really pinning my hopes on vaping, but yeah, I already have my eye on the Riva!

If you return your Blu (get delivery confirmation) with none of the cartriges used, you'll get a full refund - eventually. It's been over 4 weeks since I returned mine and only today I got a confirmation e-mail that "the check is in the mail..." as is my eGo while I sit here constantly changing batteries for my 510. Minus the Volcano, I had a very similar experience to Zod's. If you have your eye on the Riva, go for it. There's no sense in both of us learning the hard way.

What happens if some of the cartos are used? Some of mine were used. You would assume with a 30-day money back guarantee that you would use some cartos. I sent it with confirmation. They received it back last week. I still haven't heard anything from them. I could really use that $60 to buy my Leo. ;)

I'll probably keep my blu regardless of how much I like/dislike it. Even if I end up moving on to bigger and better things, I'll probably keep it on hand to loan out to my friends who are thinking about vaping. I figure at $60, sounds like it's less trouble to keep. Plus, it should come tomorrow, and there is no way I can not try it!! I'm hoping, too, where I smoke ultra lights, the vapor/throat hit thing won't be as much an issue for me as it is with some people. Oh, well, keeping my fingers crossed! I feel like a kid the night before Christmas. Would it look too funny if I just stood out by the mailbox waiting? :)

As far as Blu goes, and Volcano also i should add; is that they aren't far off the mark as to how many cigarettes equal 1 cart for the average smoker. What most people don't take into account is how many drags they usually take on an analog. It is normally a lot less than they think. Of course that is not always true for everybody; but most people take fewer drags on their analog, than they do when they switch to vaping. Also, I would bet that most frustrated Blu vapers change carts when there is still over half of the cart filled. If they follow the steps i mentioned earlier, they would get more out of the cart. But, one big drawback is that the Blu does seem to like to vape itself. Many times i would notice my pocket getting hot because the Blu activated on its own.

As I mentioned, i still use my Blu on occasion, partly because their is one flavor i really like, and also when i want to stealth vape as I can hide it in my hand better than I can with my mega 510.

They will deduct from the refund the value they place on the carts that were used. This is one part i do not like at all about their advertising. it is misleading, as they say the first 25 pack is free; however, they are not when it comes right down to it.

Grrr! That makes me mad! I wonder how much of my $60 I'll actually get back. They will probably say the cartos are worth more than the PV. :(

They explain in their refund policy that they might deduct anything not in good condition from the refund. I agree with you, but I don't work for Blu. It took three weeks and three days for me to hear anything back from them, and now they're saying 5-7 days for the credit to show up on my card.

Like they say it really comes down to personal preference. I smoked Marlboro Ultra Lights and the Blu didn't do it for me. I literally had to "toke" on it a couple times to get enough of a drag. Yes, make sure to twist the cartos when you first put them on because the foil will get stuck on the atty. I had to switch and charge batteries at least 4 time a day and I'm not a heavy vaper. And like jcleaver said when you just move the Blu the tip would light up. I'm sure I was killing batteries by just having it in my purse running around town. I like the manual batteries soo much better. Good luck in whatever you choose. Whatever gets you off of analogs is worth it in the end! :)

It could very well be that where you only take a few puffs every so often from your analogs that your Blu will be perfect for you! But when you said you have your eye on a Riva ($30 for a kit) I had to jump in!

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll most like get a Riva, if for no other reason than to not have to charge the batteries so much. The blu was a gift from my boyfriend, so I have to at least try it before I get another one. You know, just to be polite ;)

Nothing wrong with that! I quit analogs with a Blu (it was akin to cold turkey, but I did it...). And you really could find that you love it, or love having two different systems to suit your every whim and mood! I remember how excited I was to get mine and can't help envy you that feeling. Best of luck to you whatever you decide.

I started off with the blu, and the carts didn't work out for me. I smoked them all in three days, and was pretty ...... off. My tip for you is just use the empty cart, and start dripping on it. You will be amazed how much nicer it is then those stupid carts lol. :) Also plan on buying a few 3 mls, so when your at work and so you can just drip with a small bottle. I really do enjoy the Blu, just because the PCC is nice and compact.
