I'll be purchasing my Provari within the next few days and I just want to make sure I'll have every thing I need, with the highest of quality. Currently in my Provape cart, I have the Provari, extention cap, three 18650 batteries, 5 battery cases (cheap, why not), the caddy case to carry my Provari in (looks well made), and the Blue LED light.

It's a total of $253.70. Now, I'll also have to get an i4 Nitecore charger from Amazon for another $17 found here http://www.amazon.com/Nitecore-Inte...d=1392097955&sr=8-1&keywords=nitecore+charger

Is there every thing I will need? I already have plenty of tanks and other assorted things related to vaping of course, but I'm speaking specifically about the Provari, the safety with the Provari and the quality of the stuff I'm buying. I don't want cheap crap. Is the charger I'm buying good?

Also, what are some good habits to get into with owning the Provari? I know you shouldn't idle from your batteries charging which is understandable since it only takes 2 hours to fully charge an 18650 apparently. With that being said, I'll fully charge 3 of them and just switch off as they die since they last so long. Is there any other necessary safety measures or daily rituals people do?

I'm excited.

Oh, and I'm getting the Silver Satin model without the extra year warranty. Is that smart? Is it worth getting? I'm also not getting any 18490's because I want the battery life most of all for now.

I think skipping the warranty is not much of a risk. It will not cost much after the first year to have things fixed anyway. It is a small gamble that you will probably come out ahead on by skipping the warranty.

I've read that quite a bit actually, where people say it's "cheap to repair the Provari". How cheap is cheap?

I skipped the warranty on mine. If you check the prices for their out of warranty repairs they are quite reasonable. I've never had a problem anyway.

I have a caddy case, it came with a device I bought off the classys. It is well made, but kind of useless. It's big and a ProVari doesn't need that much protection. My Vamo currently lives in the caddy (he's delicate) and the ProVari is upside down in my purse. :)

My satin silvers are my favorites. While the Cerakote coating on the colored ones is very durable, it does show wear over time. The silvers do too, but you can't see it unless held up to a light.

Those prices are definitely not bad for a device that is highly rumored to easily last 2-3 years with no issues. I think the very worst possible case scenario would be the circuit board replacement and even then, $65 isn't too bad.

I see by your sig you have saved $120.00 on not smoking and spent $253.00 on your Provari order. You're gonna fit right in here.

It looks like you'll be well set with quality gear and that charger is well respected and up to the task of keeping your batteries ready for use. What toppers have you got and what will go on first? And what device are you upgrading from? BTW, congratz on a month without combustibles, you've earned the best quality mod out there.

The only things left are the customizing stuff like beauty rings, bases, wraps and such. Oh, and maybe some pie to celebrate when it comes in. Of course you never really need a reason for pie.

Once you have the Beloved in your hands you will understand how difficult it would be to kill one. They don't make a Zombie edition for nothing.

Well, I've yet to get into rebuildables so my toppers are a Protank 2 Mini, Protank 2 with an Aerotank Base and a Kanger Aerotank with the base as well. I love all 3 of them and the leaking problem with my Protank 2 is completely fixed so I have no interest in buying more tanks for awhile. As for what I'm upgrading from, it's a funny story. I'm currently using a K-go Mega 1300mah VV mod, however I bought an MVP 2 from Fasttech 2 weeks ago thinking it'd be a month or more before I got my tax return. Little did I know, I was wrong.

Anyways, I plan to use my MVP 2 for when I go out to parties at people's houses that don't deserve to be in the presence of the Provari, as well as work. I'm going to use my Provari at my buddies house along with in my own home. I might let it see a bit of daylight once the whole "I just spent nearly $300 on supplies for you" feeling goes away. But, until then, my MVP 2 is going to have to endure all of my drops, wear & tear and daily usage even after I buy the Provari.

I think with those 2 devices, I'll be fine for awhile. I do have a question though, how long do batteries roughly last before going bad on you? How often will I have to purchase more batteries? I've concluded that I'm going to buy three 18650's and two 18490's just to use different sizes for different occasions. I'll always have 2 cases full of fully charged batteries, along with one in my Provari. :2cool:

I initially bought two batteries over a year ago and they are still in rotation. I have a number of different devices and turned into a battery freak. Whenever I find some on sale I buy as many as I can. I have not had a single problem with AW batteries.

Out of curiousity, is there anything I can buy for the Provari to make it look like one with something like the Kanger Aerotank? I've seen people do it with Kayfun Lite's and stuff, but I'm curious if there's something more I could buy later on, to help it look more like it's 1 solid device if that makes any sense.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but if it's how to make a tank and the battery device flush there are different types of "Vanity" rings you can get. These have 22mm IBTanks and Loki rings on them.

Do you mean cosmetically to look like everything was made to be together?

There are some things that are made just for the Provari and does not require a beauty ring but nothing wrong with a beauty ring.

Are you meaning the Air Flow Control? One option is the Hippo v2 from Atomistique, but some US vendors carry them too (Avid Vapor, and Vape Rev). Here is info on the available rings:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provari/500190-pro-rings-2013-year-end.html

As for a case, I have the hard drive case type that I got from ProVape. It holds spare cartos (I mostly use carto tanks), my tank tool, and a backup K100 (so chosen because it is telescopic and works regardless of what batteries I have with me that day). Like Ocelot, the ProVari itself gets tossed in my purse. I use the battery boxes for batteries. And some juice. All I ever need.
