I've got a ??? for everyone.....What is the best cartomizer to use w/ an eGo for superior taste quality??? I also have an Omega and I'm looking for the same taste or something close to it??? I've tried a couple of diff brands from a couple of diff vendors, but it's just not cutting it!!! Is there an option out there or am I wasting my time??? Help!!! I hope I posted this in the right spot.....

I am far from a cartomizer expert, but I use the boge 2.0 cartomizer. They were recommended to me when I started and I've just stuck with them. I've gotten some at Ikenvape that were good also.

There are tons of new cartomizer on the market now like the dual coil, etc. I know nothing about them but if you have 5 posts you can ask in the other section.

Good luck!

Edit: What is an Omega? Is that a mod?

Thank you. It seems that the LR (low resistance?) ones are the ones to get? What is the difference between Low Resistance and the regular ones?

Im using type b cylinder LR atomizers and type B mega cartridges

Works for me, does take a whole lot of juice to start those carts out though.

I have been using the same atty for a month now... no problems.

Low resistance get hotter ( and also burn your battery down faster ), I like em, but them I am using a 1000 mah battery for standard and one of the little 650's when my big battery is charging. The 1000 mah battery lasts me for more than a day ( but not quite 2 )

This is something I'm curious about as well. I've been all over the web and have seen variable resistance "everything" and was curious what the difference was between them.

For instance 2.2 all the up to 3.0 ohm resistance ... is there a trade off between vapor and battery life (that's the best I can deduce)?

ETA: Drat! didn't read the last post fully.

Difference is the LR atomizers seem to be the same or even less expensive than the standard ones.

And they burn hotter, you don’t need to draw as long to get the same amount of vapor, and the vapor you do get is warmer.

However they also burn your batteries down a bit faster. Some folks have told me they have a shorter life span, I don’t know I am on the first one I bought for over a month now... so it is working long enough for me anyway.

As far as the batteries go… im using a 1000mah ( the long battery ) and I really don’t notice that, I vape a lot and the battery lasts me well over a full day, if I charge one and start using it before I got to bed, it will last me all the next day and not run out until the following morning. ( shrug ) love that battery

between here and there
Lr means low resistance....lighter and hotter on the draw than a standard cartomizer/atty at 3.0....Usually the 2- 2.5 are ok to use on an eGo/Riva type battery,,,,if you go 1.5 that is where it gets to really drain the battery noticably and the atty's get very hot and usually pop sooner......
