I am new to vaping and bought a Joye 510 kit, KR808D-1 kit from Nhaler and 8 disposable 510's from Madvapes. My question is about the Joye 510 manual batteries, how long should they last on a full charge and how many times can you charge them?

The reason I am asking is that after 2 days it seems like the 510 manual battery is bad already. I charge it fully and only get about an hour of occasional vaping then it starts blinking again. It seems that it takes longer to charge than the time I use it to vape.

For comparison the KR808 battery seems to last all day and the disposable automatic batteries with the disposable kit also seem so last about 1/2 a day.

From my reading I realize that the 510 batteries are the weak point in an otherwise great e-cig so what is your experience and what are my options? I don't think I can live with this short battery life.

I'm brand new to the 510 and generally green altogether when it comes to the vaping thing, but I can tell ya from what I've experienced and read that's about what a 510 is good for. I get about a solid hour to an hour and a half out of my 510 batteries.

I cant wait for my passthrough to get here, then it's smooth sailing when im sitting around the house or in my truck.

Sounds like you got defective (or used ?) 510 batteries

That is about how long mine last. My setup is 3 batteries, 2 atomizers, a pcc, and a usb passthrough. All 510 equipment. I switch batteries and use usb while at comp oh and I also have an adapter to my car lighter that has usb ports so I can use the passthrough on it while driving. GL and Welcome!! hope this helps

Probably an apples and oranges thing - what's the KR808D-1 mAh rating. It seems they are higher rated 280mAh and above? I have one that's rated 280mAh and I get 2 hours tops on it. And that's not the bad part - which is it's supposed to have an 8 second cutoff and it never makes it past 5 seconds cutting off some good vapes. It's for sale, btw.

The 510 megas, also rated 280mAh - I get 3-4 hours out of them and no cutoff, no 'time outs', etc. Both manuals btw. A cutoff on a manual is like a governor on a dragster.

If you're only getting an hour on a new 510 on occasional vaping, then you're hanging on the button.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I am probably pushing the button too long, that makes sense. I do have a USB passthrough, pcc and mega battery coming so I should be fine.
Now I need to get some different flavored juices to see which I prefer.

I have had my 510 for a few days now and I get 1/2 to 1 day out of my battery. This is 10-15 puffs about every 2 hours. So I would guess that I get 60-80 puffs before I start noticing the vapor level falling off and I charge it again. I hold the button for 1/2 sec before I start drawing on it and I draw for about 3-4 seconds. I charged my manual yesterday afternoon and just switched it out with my auto.
I think you may have an old battery. After a year (even in storage) the LiOn batteries can start losing their capacity, just like a cell phone.

I use 510 batteries...I have the short ones and the megas. I consider myself a chain vapor. I carry 3 complete PVs around with me (I used to use a cigarette case and I still use it only now it holds PVs. no different than carrying a pack of cigs) usually 2 are the short ones and 1 is a mega. this makes it possible for me to vape all day without charging. I have 6 in rotation, using 3 while 3 are charging.

also, most people think you should not charge your batteries unless you are there to watch them and make sure nothing bad happens!
