Terrie1 you can do what you want but let me tell you this. I have the 510 from the same company you bought from. Mine is 37 days old. I vape everyday. I am still using the same atty as when I began. It is hit or miss with the cheaper 510 attys whether they will last a day or a month. I have read numerous posts of folks going through attys like crazy. That keeps me from buying the cheap ones. I just recently placed a second order from ECI and got two more attys for just in case. Until I get screwed I will use them exclusively. They seem to sell the real deal not knockoff parts

My first one from them died in 10 days (harsh burnt taste that wouldn't clean) but thanks for the input! I may well stay with them also, second atty is fine.

Terrie, really I recommend you stick to JOYE atomizers for the 510. I've found them to be the longest lasting, most dependable. Mine run for 4 plus months. Actually, I've only had one that had an issue the first week (got a bad burned taste that I think was a bridge wick issue manufacturing fault).

Purchase 5 or more here and they are 7.29
510 Atomizer
Get $5 off your first order (of $20 or more) by using the coupon code( firsttime )
You can use Coupon code for 5% off( 5off ) for all purchases after that
FREE SHIPPING for orders of $55 or more (you'll see that at check out).

I've used 510's from 5 different companies, bought due to sales. Of all the 510's I'v bought all are compatible. I have found there were three different styles two of which are different from the joy 510 as far as what the bridge area looks like.I'm still using the 2 original 510 atty's since I started vaping about 50 days ago.

I have primarily used two atomizers over the past month in my 510. I rinse them with hot water, blow them out and let them dry overnight about once per week and both are still running strong. I say "primarily" because I do have one other atty that I use for my experiments with flavorings. I would suggest you stick with "Joye" atomizers because I've had success with them, but the others probably will fit.

For that burnt atty take a look at this thread:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo.../35917-sattecs-atty-cleaning-test-thread.html

I haven't found a flavor or burnt taste that the Crest Pro mouthwash won't get rid of yet, but ymmv. What have you got to lose though, right? I soak them for about 15 minutes in the mouthwash, rinse them with hot water and then soak them in water overnight. Rinse them again, blow them out, let them dry about 12 hours or so and it works and tastes as good as new.

Good luck.
