You have a couple of options. The first is simply removing your atty every night before bed, turning it threaded/battery end up and letting it drain on a paper towel over night and then pitching it once it stops producing the level of vapor you're accustomed to and find preferable. The other is a deep clean, although atties are so cheap this is oftentimes a bigger pain in the rear than it's worth. You can boil your atties or soak them several hours in a solution such as white vinegar, isopropyl 99% alcohol, etc. I will usually only clean my atties once before I give up the ghost and purchase new ones. I'm still coming out way cheaper than when I was smoking analogs.

On refilling carts, That Guy with a Fedora has a great video on that:

I clean my atomizer in isopropyl rubbing alcohol. I just fill a small bowl or shot glass with enough alcohol to submerge the atomizer. I soak them for 15 - 30 minutes then rinse with water. I also clean the cartridges and filler the same way. Once rinsed, i just let everything sit for a day. I have been doing this for the last 4 weeks and have not lost an atomizer.

I clean using H2O2. (Hydrogen Peroxide). Sounds bad but actually H2O2 turns to water under heat. I like it because its easy and fast. I pour a little in the lid, then use the lid to pour a few drops in the atty for a few seconds then empty and repeat a couple of times. Put atty on batt and the hit the button for about six seconds let off for about three seconds then repeat a couple of times. I then use VG or some yuck juice to flush the atty. I put in a few drops, heat it, then blow it out -repeat. Then I vape the atty (without inhaling) about dry. It's now ready to throw on a cart and start using. Takes less time than typing this out. lol
