joye ego passthrough blinks

my joye brand ego passthrough blinks every 5 hits and doesnt let me take another hit until after its done blinking, can you tell me what that means?

Almost sounds like the low battery cutoff, the red light on the bottom should be on while its charging and being used,if its not turning on try another usb port and or cable. Also the eGo pass-through doesn't work the same as a standalone pass-through, it pulls power from the battery and only the battery. They should have called it the eGo while you wait edition.

well i never use my ego as a passthrough and it blinks like low battery but after its done blinking i can hit it again (usually, sometimes it will blink more than once), but the battery isnt dead because it doesnt it right after i take it off the charger. could my battery be defective?

yeah somethings not right. I pulled mine out to see if maybe you were just hitting the cutoff, but i had it on for 16 seconds and it didn't turn off so that cant be it.

Is it new? If so call or email the company you bought it from and see what they can do, if not the poor soldier is probably just ready for retirement
