joye ego with and without cone

does anyone have any experience with using the ego with and without it? has it made a difference in your drags? i find it easier to drag without the cone but for purposes of protecting the atomizer i keep the cone on when i keep it in my pocket or set it down.

Alot of people say they get a better hit with the cone on because it gives warmer vapor. Personally i don't see a difference on or off. Just looks prettier with it on.

I haven't really notice a difference. I always use the cone because that's where my finger goes.

I never use the cone. I use LR atty's, they only have two draw holes and the generate a lot of heat. cone stays in the case.

Esthetically, it looks much better with the cone on. I also get warmer drags with it on, but definitely notice it has an easier drag with it off...I actually can't believe no one else notices that.?.

Yeah, I'm with the last two posters but totally agree with Stu - I prefer it on, because its warmer and a deeper drag, which is better for me. If it's off I can hear the air kind of whistling through the atty holes and don't dig that at all.

Honestly, to me the cone makes it the right PV for me.

On 'loose' cartos and attys it tightens up the draw a bit and gives a heavier hit. I prefer it on.

I hardly notice a difference in the draw, but I do notice that the atty (LR) gets warmer on repeated draws with the cone on. I agree with others; the primary reason I use the cone is for aesthetics and juice catching. Not having juice leak in my pocket is one of my favorite things about the eGo.

I've seen posts by people complaining about the drag, that they get a better one without the cone. I haven't had a problem or noticed a difference myself.

The other consideration (if you're a dripper) is that the cone confines any juice seepage inside so you don't get it on your fingers (until you take the atomizer off).

So funny you said that because I just described the eGo without the cone as "naked". LOL

I use a Tornado PV with and without the cone (in private and in public), depending of my concrete needs on the time I vape. As others said, using the cone makes it harder to drag and gives more vapor. Without the cone it is softer to drag but still gives decent vapor.

I use my eGo with the cone on.....I chain vape so I go through a lot of juice and the cone catches all the seepage.....I also like the vape with the cone on.....it has a warmer draw.

I use a Tornado also, perhaps not all devices are made equal. Probably the way the atty seats on the battery. Quality control in the machining the threads maybe different. ??

i tend to leave the cone off at home; never outside the house. laziness rules!
