Disappointed in my mini protank.....just doesnt hit like a T2 or T3.....

I tend to agree. I've plugged one and two of the air intakes and that helps. Also switched out to a 1.8Ω coil. The 2.4-2.6 one is weak and meters out at around 2.8Ω.... you can almost always add .2 ohms to all kanger coils.

What's been updated for Protank-2 ? (and the mini I presume)....

1: Stronger base
2: Glass can be replace
3: coils are work with Protank-1 and Mini-protank

Does anyone know if MT3S/Evod coils work with the Mini ProTank?

If I've got some Evod coils (the long ones from MT3S), can I use them with the Mini?

The T3S coils are the 'universal donor' - they fit all - evod, protank, mini protank, MT3S (of course)... however the evod/protank coils don't fit the T3S/MT3S.

This guy says it best as to why:

"No, the Protank/Evod heads can't fit in the T3 tank, the flange under the wick of the head is wider than the T3s head. They screw down on the T3s base, just the base doesn't fit in fully down with these heads in them. So my suggestion is get spare T3s heads, which I am doing then rebuild them. Upgrading all my older T3 tanks to T3s, as I have been rebuilding them, the removable head makes it easier to cut off the excess wire legs of the neg and pos compared to the standard T3 it is hard to get even small flush cutters down in the cup and get majority of the excess. Beside that the T3s/MT3s performs just as competently as the standard T3/MT3."

Basically the T3S/MT3S coils are easier to rebuild and are cheaper and fit on all bcc kanger products for the eGo.

Note: The T3S base and coil unit don't fit in the Baby T3.

I have two of the original Mini ProTanks. They are gorgeous on a stainless steel USB passthrough eGo. I ordered a couple of packs of 1.8Ω heads with them (meter 1.8-2.0Ω) and set the included 2.5s (which usually meter 2.6) aside for use in my big original ProTanks (o-ring models) on a VV/VW mod. The original Minis are rated at 1.5 ml and work very well with the 1.8s. I prefer the look of the originals over the 2 series. The draw is fine for me. YMMV.

Additional note. Even though the above is correct - the Baby T3 CAN take the Evod/PT coil with the T3S base. But not the T3S coil. odd... I also tried using the T3S knurled base with all coils for the mini protank - no go, although the T3S coil works with the mini PT base.
