My 3 Ego kits and other bits arrived today and when I open the boxes there are battery covers on every one!! What a pleasant surprise!! So now I don't need to order them later after all
As always a real pleasure buying from Health Cabin but I will give China Post a big miss next time. For the extra couple of bucks its really worth going with EMS to get my gear sooooo much quicker and also being able to track it properly removes the anxiety. According to China Post the Ego I am now happily vaping on is still in china!! (Unless there are another 3 coming....
BTW. I was worried that the drop back to 3.7v would be a sacrifice but I'm very, very happy with the Ego. I have my usual KR808 cartos with the 510 adapter set up as well as the Ego carto (gave up on messy attys and troublesome carts a long time ago). Both are sitting on my desk so I can see witch one I find myself reaching for most. The KR gives more flavor than my 5v mod and I swear the Ego carto gives more throat hit than the 5v mod. They both seem to give about the same amount of vapor as the 5v. And so much easier to pocket. I think the standard carto may win through in the end just because of the simplicity of refilling. I'll probably keep an Ego carto full of Cuba Cigar handy for those times with a red or a port when I used to enjoy a cigar. Only thing left is to get some of those 510D cartos on my next order and I might be saying goodbye to the 501-KR8 adapter.
The pass through battery is cool. Works well and is very practical for work where I can vape at the computer and then just unplug and go at any time knowing I've always got a full charge.. Brilliant!!
