Been looking for threads on it, but no luck so far. I should be receiving 2 Joye Ego C twist 1000 mah on Thursday. Was wondering how others feels about the Joye Tech. I know there are a lot of knockoffs off it, but since I am serious about vaping I thought I'd go with a well known name. I like the idea of dialing in the right voltage to get the right taste. :2cool:

Agree with ingerri - at this point except for some novelties like the mini, I buy joyetech eGos. I've had very few problems over three years now. Occasionally have bought others for comparision but Joye ends up on top, imo. I sold most of my mods to vape Joye eGo's which happen to suit the wattage I need for the flavors I vape and the clearos I use - tabac bcc's.

I have a 1000mah ego-c twist. It charges in a couple hours. Haven't had a problem and have been using it until it stops (usually lasts a day) and the charging it every night for 3 months.
Do you have the 1000 mah twist? If so how long can you go on a charge and how long does it take to recharge it? Oh almost forgot to have a special voltage setting you like best?

Thanks

I received the Joye C Twist 3 days ago and I was shocked how long it is and how thin compared to my 1300 mah Ego battery. It does last all day long but not easy to stand up with my Evod tank. I like how you can change the voltage as it does allow more vapor if needed, but you need eyes of a eagle to read the dial. I can barely read it during the day but at night forget about seeing the dial.

I purchased two of them the black and the white. I will admit it looks sleek and feels good in hand, but I just wish it wasn't as long and a bit more steady.

I have two the 650 and the 1000. I like the size of the 650 better as the 1000 is a bit big however the battery life is obviously better on the 1000mah. I agree reading the dial is a bit cumbersome at times but after a while you just get a feel for where the dial is at. Excellent build quality feels solid and looks solid. I've neer used knock offs so I can't compare but from my research and why I chose the Joyetech is that they last longer and are better quality. That sold it for me. The extra few dollars was worth it to me.

I didn't purchase the 650 because I need it to last all day. I'm very pleased with my Joye C Twists so far and I'm sure they will last a long time. I do love being able to turn up the volts as I vape some thicker juices and they seem to need more volts. I'm sure I will simply turn up and down the dial until I get the best vape.

The 900mAh is the best choice, imo. Only one hour less but an inch shorter than the 1000. You really don't need to see the dial - you dial for taste and vapor anyway. But yeah... hard to see. Some have made deeper marks with a file and go by fingernail :D Still the best VV, imo with the short and charge protection and overall quality.

A inch shorter would be perfect. Honestly I thought they only made a 650 and 1000mAh and I didn't realize it was a inch longer then what I now will use as a spare. Next time I order a battery I'll try the 900. Thanks

I overestimated - it's about a half inch shorter... sorry. I have both, and prefer the 900 over the 1000. I use the 650's at home though which are considerably shorter... but shorter charge life as well.... With twists.... if you keep it in the 3.5-3.7V range you get around 1 hour per 100mAh's. If you're in the 4.0-4.4V range it will be shorter.

Hi fellow eGo twisters!!! I love my eGo twist too! Not sure it's from Joyetech tho : / I bought it at a B & M before I found this forum; which, btw, has changed my life!! If I'd known how much more enjoyable vaping was I would've quit ana's a LONG time ago. I'm hoping one of you might be able to tell me how to tell when my twist is finished charging? I notice that the red light stays on forever-does it turn green when it's done? Thanks in advance and happy vaping!!!!

YOu can't go wrong, IMHO. The Joyetech Ego Twist is like the classic batt to me.

I love mine too.
I find that I need a higher nic level in the morning. Turning the volts down for my higher nic juices seems to take the harshness out of them.
Then in the evening I drop my nic level down or I'm too fidgety to sleep. Then I can crank the volts up and it gives me more flavor and vapor.
I love the flexibility of it.
I always charge mine overnight and the light turns green when it's fully charged.

Supposed to turn green when charged. sometimes it is the light on the charger itself that is broken, not the actual ego battery itself though, and it stays red. Make sure your charger-to-battery connection is solid.....not too tight, but not loose either!

I have two genuine Joyetech eGo twist Batteries. Both are 1100mah versions. They both worked wonderfully until a couple months ago when one of them (My oldest one at close too a year in age and 300-400 cycles, which is the expected life span) started giving out far earlier than my newer one. If you can get a Joye product, please do. They are worth every penny. :)

Hi fellow eGo twisters!!! I love my eGo twist too! Not sure it's from Joyetech tho !

If it has the Joyetech symbol on the bottom (the E), then it's genuine.

I got mine last week and like it a lot. I got the 1000mAh version which is pretty long, but still good as my work vape. I found the dial a bit hard to see in lower light but I'm working through it.

I have a 1000mAh eGo-T upgrade vv and three 650mAh eGo-T upgrade vv and I pretty much use these every day. The iclear 16s work wonderfully with these, as do the EVODs and Protank. On the Twist the Protank hums and the Twist also allows me to use my Carto tanks (not really easy on the regular egos because my carto tank requires around 4.3v for optimum draw).

So far I'm impressed with the Joyetech eGo batteries. Quick charge times (3 hours of less), durable and very portable which to me is crucial in all my vaping equipment. I have an itaste MVP which I love, and I've ordered a second of those, but I basically chose a Twist over a VAMO or any of the other tube mods. The price, portability and function makes these a no-brainer for the practical and on-the-go vaporhead. :thumb:
