I just had an experience with what I believe an eGo-C atomizer gone bad, and I figured I would share it with others in an effort to help.

I have a Joyetech eGo-C kit (650 mAh) with the LR atties that I've been using for a while now. On Saturday, I decided it was time to change out the atomizer in one of the cones I got with my starter kit that I had been using with fruit flavors for about 18 days. The draw was getting tight and vapor production was starting to dwindle, so not a big deal, time to change out the atty. After changing the atty, everything was great again all weekend long... until tonight.

I went to draw on my eGo with a relatively fresh battery, and it did nothing. The battery would not fire and clicking 5 times (on/off feature) produced no results as well. I attach another battery to the cone, and it works for 2 draws, and the same thing occurs. It just stopped working. Panic starts to set in because I thought I just permanently killed 2 of my 4 batteries...

I did a Google search and found a thread where someone reported a weird glitch with the eGo-C battery where it would stop working, but then if you just put it on the charger for a couple of seconds (while the light flashes blue) and it resets the battery. This worked for both of the batteries that I thought were completely dead and no longer usable. After reviving the batteries, I tried them on my other cone/atty and they worked perfectly fine. Put one of them back on the cone with the new atty I changed just days before, and it stopped working again after drawing on it twice. Problem found, bad atty is the culprit. I changed the atty in that cone, and everything is working great once more and I'm doing the happy vaper dance.

:rickroll:

I'm not sure if this is a bug with the eGo-C batteries in the way they just shut down with what I assume was a short in the atty, but the workaround fixed the battery issue. I hope this helps someone else who may run into the same issues in the future.
