Hey guys!

I currently have a joyetech ego-t battery (2 of the actually)

A friend of mine wants to get a similar kit but does not want to pay big bucks (welcome to Canada... Sigh)

So a supplier I found up here has riva 1100mah kits thy loom good and seem to be ego part friendly so we can swap parts/cartos whatever...

Any idea onthe quality? I've read somewhere that riva was fine but other people say joye is the only option...

I'm hoping to place the order for him by the end of the weekend... Thanks guys!

I have some Special Edition Rivas (SE Rivas - silver top) that are well built. And a few other earlier Rivas (gold top) that still vape well - lost one to an atty short from a dry burn. The difference in the SE Rivas is that they run 3.7 volts underload whereas the Joye's run @3.2-3.4v. I like the threading better on the Joyes but if I'm careful with threading the Riva, then after a while there isn't a problem. (some people have reported the same with Joyes :) I've never had a problem with Joye batts and any Joye atty or carto fitting well.

Also on the Rivas, sometimes one has to pry up the center post on an atty to make the connection as the specs on some of the Rivas are a tad off. I have three VV Rivas and the center post on two of them are a bit short, the other one was just fine.
