Hi everyone,

as I was reading that juice/cartridges are best kept in a cool place I put my e-liquid bottle in the fridge yesterday, and when I wanted to top off my cart today I noticed that the drops coming out of the bottle were much 'thicker' than usual (kind of semifluid but still liquid). Not sure if my fridge is too cold, or if this just a normal behavior ? Anyway, I was worried about harming my atomizer with that, so now I filled a second little bottle with a day's supply that I leave outside and intend to fill it up each night so that it can warm up. Am I just doing unnecessary work, or could the viscous liquid indeed damage the atomizer ?

Second question I had was: I'm not a heavy smoker, so I guess that 30 ml e-liquid bottle will last me quite a while. Does anyone know how long liquid (or carts) can be stored cooled and non-cooled before they go bad ?

Thanks,

Dirk

1. E-liquid should be stored in a cool, dark place. It does not need to be put in the fridge but that won't hurt. I think you are doing the right thing by keeping a days supply out. The liquid needs to be thin enough to flow to the atomizer well. Not enough flow to atomizer = fried atomizer.

2. Johnson Creek say's their liquid will keep for up to 12 months. They state that it is less than others because their only preservative is a small amount of alcohol.

Hope that helps!

I wouldn't worry too much about the problem. Remember it was only a few who experieced it and they may have been bad batches or batches left to hang around for a while. Any cartridges you are not using for the day are probably better off in the fridge. When you are ready to use some, you are probably safe leaving them out for a day or 2, they wont go bad that quickly :) Apologies if I am wrong hehe
