I purchased a Greensmoke Kit and some carts to try a 2-piece with more vapor than my Vapor King. It certainly is a vapor monster, but almost no flavor and very little TH. I have tried 7 flavors from V4L and they are all good in my KR808.

Has anyone tried filling E9's with another manufacture's juice to see whether the flavor has more to do with the pre-filled E9 juice or the E9 atomizer?

You CAN refill these if you do it correctly. I have seen some really BAD videos on how to do it, which will end in a lot of problems if you follow the instructions that are provided. I have been meaning to make my own one showing the correct way, but have not gotten around to it yet.

If you plan on refilling E9 carts you will need a small syringe with the needle attached. The needle portion of the syringe is very important and is where most of the videos steer you wrong. You can use a very small 1cc 28g diabetic style needle, but the ejuice will have a lot of problems sucking through that small size needle. If this is what you are going to use, detach the needle portion and use the syringe to suck up the ejuice, about .4 cc's and then reattach the needle. It will be easier if you use a 20g needle with a 1cc syringe as you will not have to detach the needle before filling. Depending on the state you live in, it may be hard to get a hold of needles/syringes. I got all mine working on an ambulance. You can try CVS or a medical supply place.

First, remove the E9 cart from the ecig. This is very important because if you flood the cart, it will leak out the bottom and will go directly into the hole on your E9 battery, basically destroying the battery. I know this first hand from following a video that forgot to mention this step. Remove the wrapper around the E9 cart and clean up the sticky mess left over on the outside. On the NON screw side, there is a while plug. This is the side you put in your mouth. Use a paperclip and pop out that plug. Inside there will be a small tube which is wrapped/surrounded by a wrapping material. Do NOT remove anything out of the cart, leave it be! Take your 1cc syringe and either fill it with the needle attached or not attached as mentioned above based on the needle size. When it is filled with no more then about .4cc's of ejuice stick the needle into the wrap that surrounds the center post, about 2/3rds the way into the cart. Inject .1 cc and stop. If the round e9 cartage was a clock, then move your needle/syringe 15 minutes in either direction, and inject another .1cc just as you did the first time. Repeat this again 2 more times, moving the needle 15 minutes each time, which will make a complete circle evenly spacing around the entire stuffing wrap in the cartage. Put your lips on the end you normally would to smoke the cart and blow gently into it to "blow off" any excess juice to prevent leaking into your battery during vaping. If there is any, it will come out the bottem by the screw end. Replace the white plug and to make sure you wipe off any excess juice that has leaked out into the screw end. Attach to your E9, smoke and enjoy!

I never liked my E9's till I started filling my own. I always found the vaper to be dry and tasteless. The vanilla and chocolate E9 carts seem to have the most flavor, strawberry has some, but apple and menthol are totally tasteless no matter what vendor you buy or what brand they are. I have tried three brands, greensmoke, smoke51 and red dragon E9 carts and they have all tasted exactly the same leading me to think they all get them from the same source. Smoke51 seems to send out old dryed up carts most of the time, so I would avoid using them for replacements. Greensmoke has had the best CS out of the three, and I only deal with them for E9 stuff. There is a website selling blank E9 carts designed to be filled exactly as I posted above, but I don't remember where I saw them. If you plan on doing a lot of filling and dont buy blank ones, I would use the menthol flavor as it has the least flavor (if any!) out of all the E9's and thus it will not beeed over into the taste of whatever you add.

Good luck, and let us know how it works out! Again, my E9 was a totally different animal once I started filling my own. It was night and day!

Great advice from Thalinor and i look forward to seeing a video from you! This is exactly how i fill mine too, except i wash mine out every week with a 20 minutes soak pga (or vodka) then rinse with hot water. I blow out any excess water and let them dry overnight.

I have an E9 from smoke 51 and use D-2 empty carts from LeCig and they work great. You can use any juice to refill however I would choose juice with some vg because it seems to have a lot more vapor.

Thalinor you are the best! I really appreciate all the exacting details you posted. You really don't needs a video when you write up every thing that anyone would need to know.

Again great job....

You are quite welcome, I am just glad I could help. Enjoy! : )

Nice! Does this seem to prolong the addy in the cart? The E9 addy's look pretty much like those things that are used to ignite model rocket engines. If you have ever seen one, you know what I am talking about, basically the part you stick in the rocket engine that heats up when electricity is sent through the two wires that stick out. I have heard people rinsing out atomizers but have been afraid to so with mine as others say its bad for the addy. If you are doing so with good success, it’s something I look forward to trying as my E9 carts get usually thrown away not because the addy burns out but because they get gross tasting after a while. I think the washing would really help. Thanks for the info!

Oh, by the way love the avatar pic, I thought it was Jonathan Bowser, but just found a copy I had downloaded a long time ago, and it't tagged Linda Bergkvist. I knew I had seen it before! : )

My bottles of juice should be finally arriving today. I need to get some 20g needles as you suggested. I live in Atlanta. I assume I can go by a Pharmacy and get them (CVS, etc.). If they don't sell them, where might you suggest I could get them without ordering online?

Also, would you suggest getting quite a few for the different flavors? Or, since I probably want to wash them out after using anyway, I only need a couple. Sorry for all the basic questions, but as Sargent Shultz used to say, "I know nothing". I just want to do everything right the first time.

By the way, I have only been vaping a week but have avoided 280 analogs. I picked up an analog the other day, took 2 hits, and hated it.
