Hey Gang -
Does ejuice go bad?? I've got some that's only a month old but it is tasting really bad. I've changed coil/wicks, emptied cleaned and refilled and even new from the bottle into a completely different tank... still tastes awful. Had a tankful just 4 or 5 days ago and it was good as usual. For the life of me I can't figure this one out. Any ideas??

It really depends on the juice and how it's stored, but all juice goes bad eventually. If it gets stored in sunlight or a really warm area it'll go much faster. A month is way too fast though, that seems like something got in it somehow. Or your taste buds went temporarily haywire, which is known to happen sometimes after quitting analogs.

Typically it should last at least 6 months to a year if it's sealed and in a cool dry place. I've got an 18ish month old bottle I found in a drawer earlier that tastes as good as it did the day I got it.

Hmmm...
It didn't taste bad to start with, actually it is my girlfriend and I favorite. It is usually yummy! Maybe it could be the taste bud thing but for both of us to have our buds freak out at the same time seems odd. I haven't had a 'smoke' since February and she wasn't a smoker to start with. I took the tank completely apart and soaked it overnight in vodka, gonna rebuild it and pop in a new coil and see what happens.

It could be your taste buds but that has happened quicker than a few months for most IMO. Cleaning the tank is a good idea either way, at least once every few weeks.

Your liquid could have steeped in a month and changed the flavor. I had a Mocha Java Drizzle that was not very good when I first used it and gave it another whirl a month later and it was absolutely unbearable.

I have always went with a year for expiration of juice but have read from others who said it was fine then too. For me, if the juice manufacturer has an expiration date of a year, I would go with that.
