Hey all. Intro and an issue I'm having

Hi. Just started vaping a couple months ago and it was all good until a few days ago.

Sorry if this is a repeat thread. I searched around and didn't see anyone having the same issue.

I've been using a Smoktech pen cap style vaporizer and a couple of days ago I noticed the tell-tale sign that it was time to change the coil.
But the burnt taste did not go away, so I tried another coil. Still nothing so I took everything apart and gave it a good cleaning. Still a really bad taste...
I bought a new tank (ELeaf), but still getting the same bad awful taste. Yes, I've primed the atomizer before using it and yes I gave it a few puffs with no power to suck the juice onto the wick.. I've tried three new coils just now, but same bad burnt taste.
I buy good juice. This problem appeared after refilling with the same juice I've been using for a couple of weeks.

The only thing left that I haven't changed is the battery, but I really don't want to have to be buying a new battery.

Hi there.

Firstly, have you checked that you are using the right ohm coils for your device?

Also, are you using a variable mod? By this, I mean an e-cigarette that you can change the voltage/wattage on. If so, then perhaps change the voltage/wattage depending on what ohm your coil is. For example, I am using a 1.8ohm coil, and I usually have my device set to around 9-10 watts.

It could be what is loosely referred to as "vapor's tongue". It happens when you vape the same flavor until your taste buds just burn out on it. Have you tried a different, preferably totally opposite flavor? Maybe just cleansing your pallet will clear it up. I vape green apple, sometimes by the end of the day it tastes like pure acid. Next morning that same clearo tastes like green apple again. I wish my taste buds would accept another flavor but right now that is all that is acceptable.
