Okay...another question....

Learning to refill my used prefilled carto's...ordering another batch of juices. Hubby is finding all kinds he likes, I'm having a difficult time finding ones I like so ordered another 6 sample bottles. Learned how to clean them..got that down...learned to dry them...got that down...tried both dripping juice into carto, works well and tried the whole condom refill rick, that works well too...got both of those down...been vaping and all works very well...EXCEPT....

Some of the carto's we inhale and get juice on our lips!!:( Not a good taste......How do I keep from having this happen?

I wiped clean the inside of the carto with a tissue, I let them sit over nite before using to make sure they are soaked in, I wash and dry the little plastic mouth piece that goes in. I make sure carto's are dry before filling them. I put them in the oven to dry for an hour.

What the heck am I missing here. Doesn't happen on every one and it doesn't happen each time I inhale but when it does happen, it catches me off guard and ewwww...yuck!

Is that just the way it is when refilling yourself or have I missed a step. I have no doubt it's operator error!

Thanx for any advise and help!

Are you blowing through the battery end after you refill? Often juice gets into the center tube on refills and gets pulled into your mouth when you vape. Blow through the battery end into a papertowel, then turn it around and test the draw (no battery). If the draw is clean and there is no gurgling, you should be good to go. If it's gurgling, blow again or let it sit for 15min and recheck it. If the draw is tight, look through the mouthpiece end to see if you can see light through the middle. If you can't, use a straigtened paperclip or needle to straighten the center tube until you can see light.

Hope this helps, if not maybe someone else might have another suggestion.

OPPS!!!!! Ummm...no I didn't blow on any of them after I filled them.... I looked through them to make sure it wasn't clogged and gave them a little shake, moved the plastic tub to make it straight...all those things but I didn't blow through any of them after they were filled....hahahaha....I knew it was operator error!!!

I'll go give my carto's a blow job!!!! blahahahahaha.....

sorry...couldn't help myself....:p

I would clean them when they started to taste a bit off (after several refills) or if the draw became really stiff on them. It's completely your choice whether to clean them or toss them at that point. I'm cheap so I would collect 20-30 ones that needed cleaning and do a whole batch. I could usually get about 1/2 of them back to a like new state, the others I'd toss. I used to like to at least attempt to clean them before throwing them out until i had so many of them lying around it just became a pain and into the trash they'd go when they weren't working well anymore.

LMAO there's a visual I could have gone all day without. I hope the hubby doesn't get jealous!

Anyhow, it doesn't work 100% of the time. I've yet to use a cartridge, cartomizer, or driptip that at some point "juices" me, but that should help :)

P.S. I see you're in Stafford. HI NEIGHBOR!!!

Yes...your a hop, skip away from me aren't you!

thanx for the advise....I just blew the one I'm vaping now and it did the trick! Just told hubby the added step and he laughed and can't repeat his comments but has me laugh'in!!!

Thanx again neighbor! ;)

Just wondering if you are doing the "Taryn spin" when filling? Made a spinner out of a old RX plastic container. Poked a hole through the top and put the end of a rope (you could use a shoe lace) through the hole and tied a knot. Spins really good! The container I have will hole 5 cartomizers at a time. I spin before I fill to get any juice to the bottom, then after I put in a few drops, then top off when the top of the stuffing remains wet. The spinning helps clear out the air tube also, but still have to blow it!
