I refilled this carto this morning before coming to work, been using it non stop for about a week. All the same juice, today even though I know it is just about full I am getting muted flavor and an ever so slight carto taste. I am assuming the carto is about shot. So my question is, is it worth doing a reverse spin to get the juice out to put into a fresh carto or should I not even bother? I don't want to possibly ruin the taste of another carto..

Maybe the juice hasn't soaked down to the wick area fully. I fill my cartos and twirl them on a string ( string attached to a rubber hose that fits over the drip tip end of the carto) to get the juice down to that area and fill again until they are soaked. Never had the issues you mentioned doing it this way.

I condom fill very slowly. I have not had any issues with this carto until today. That's why I think it is just done.. I was going to reverse twirl to get the juice out of it.. (yeah, I know I'm tight)

What kind of cartomizer is it? I wouldnt risk mixing old juice with new juice. If I am able to save a considerable amount of juice I keep it separate. Most cartomizers don't hold enough for me to waste the time to save 50 cents or less worth of juice.
Boge 2 ohm LR..
But that's my 50 cents..
As I was reading your comment to me I thought to myself, "self, you have turned into your father"... He can squeeze a quarter so tight a booger shoots out of George Washingtons nose.

After pulling the filler out of a couple of cartos after the taste changed and seeing the burnt juice around the coil and the burned polyfill, I began to toss them quicker. Everyone ought to yank out the filler and unroll it just to see what it looks like. Even a turkey baster cleaning couldn't get some of the black mess out, IMO.

I'll still use a carto for several days. Once it tastes funny or I get a burnt taste, it goes into the trash.

This post has a picture of a burned carto disassembled. Mine looked worse than this.

Just toss it. I have used the reverse Taryn spin to catch some valuable juice into a condom, but I didn't put it back in the bottle with the "pure" juice. Maybe is you were a dripper it would make sense to catch the juice and drip it, but if it's not that much juice left, it wouldn't really be worth it. IMO
